Not the best view from my room. We had four different groups of family memebers and all had a WONDERFUL time at this hotel! We would definitely return again!

Amenities included in room - fridge, mini kitchen, fast wifi. Difficult to find entrance. No big sign with hotel name. Hotel was clean, comfy room with a great view of the mountains and a nice mini fridge. The wifi was super fast, free, and easy to log onto. The front desk people were all cheerful, smiling, and welcomingmost appreciated after 2 days travel in heavy rains and winds coming north from FL. My requested quiet room was just that.Very restful and relaxing with more comforts than home!

Nice room and recently upgraded. The first roomrecently had the carpet cleaned. We had to change rooms. After the room change and everything was great.

Great location in downtown Asheville. Need a visible sign to entrance of hotel. Hotel staff was very pleasant and courteous. Rooms were very comfortable with Wall mounted flat screen TV's. Would highly recommend.

I booked a trip to Asheville because my family and I were planning a ski trip in Maggie Valley, not far from Asheville. The day before I was supposed to check into the Holiday Inn Downtown, Asheville, I saw a weather report that warned of an impending blizzard and it was recommended that no one travel if possible. At that point, I contacted customer service at the Holiday Inn Downtown and let them know that regrettably I had to cancel my trip due to the severe weather conditions. I was told by the clerk that they couldnt refund my money because I received a special advance purchase rate. I tried to rationalize with the Holiday Inn customer service clerk letting him know that we were driving up from Fl and it was recommended that we dont travel and I would think, due to the circumstances he could help me out, Id be even willing to pay a cancellation fee. He only offered to move my reservation to a later date. Unsatisfied, I called Holiday Inns corporate office and I was redirected back to the hotel. I was really surprised that they chose to resolve the situation in this manner, Im not going to accept the open date in the future, because I refuse to stay at a hotel that has no compassion for its guests in situations that are unfortunate like this. So, if you plan on staying at this hotel, be warned, they are only concerned with the reservations, not the quality of customer service or the safety of their traveling guests.

Great hotel. A quick drive to downtown or Biltmore Village. Several family friendly restaurants within walking distance, which was very nice. The staff was very nice, the room was large and very clean, and overall it was well worth the price. We would definitely stay there again.

Great breakfast menu. Minor, but entrance to parking lot from the street was hard to find. Extremely friendly staff. Overall experience was excellent. Found the hotel to be as advertised.

When there was a problem getting the 2 bed room, they put us in a suite for that first night. I had called ahead and request a room with 2 beds. On arrival we were told that we had been moved to a King room and they had no other rooms. This hotel is new and very clean. It is a little hard to find their entrance, as it is behind some eating places. I appreciated that after the girl at the front counter told me that I was assigned us a room with two beds and then that morning the manager had changed it to one bed and there were no rooms available that he stepped in and got us a suite for the night and then a room with two beds for the other nights. We also used their nice business center computers and printers. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
