This hotel offers rooms and suites in the Houston Medical Center, approximately 15 miles from the Houston Hobby Airport. Local attractions include Hermann Park, Houston Zoo and Museum Districts. Within a block, the Metro Rail connects guests to Downtown Houston, the Galleria Mall and Reliant Center (home to Houston Rodeo). This Medical Center location is also blocks away from Rice University, Baylor College of Medicine and University of Texas-Medical Branch. Management went out of their way to keep me happy. Parking was limited, but the staff did find me a space. This hotel was great! The entire staff was excellent and the rooms were well equipped.

Convenient location to the medical center and shuttle van. Room temp too cold and could not adjust. Nice enough hotel conveniently located in the medical center. Check in/check out, parking facilities and courtesy van to the medical center are pluses. Considering that many guests are visiting due to serious health problems, guests should be able to regulate room temperature.

It was easy to get in and out of good location. Restaurant staff seemed stressed/scattered. Slow with the coffee and asked me to pay the bill numerous times. This a great location for anyone with business/appointments in the medical center. Free parking available with adequate spaces.

The Holiday Inn & Suites (Medical Center) in Houston promises to be a first rate facility when the ongoing renovations are completed. Although the location is excellent, the room was very comfortable, and the hotel staff were friendly, the renovations that were being done caused the closure of the pool and the fitness room. This was very disappointing

Clean, attractive, attentive staff. No parking! shower water in my room was lukewarm! It is a good hotel; exceptional for the price we received a room! Parking accommodations were poor, however. Overall, it was much, much nicer than expected.

Beautiful and spacious, room was outstanding for the money. No shopping or restaurants other than fast food places nearby. This is a wonderful hotel to stay in. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the room was quiet, well designed and very comfortable. The only drawback is that there is little to do within walking distance since it is right in the medical center. It is easy to access and very close to the downtown area.

I stayed in a small suite--very clean, with a full kitchen. Parking was free--a plus for this area of Houston. The restaurant served a reasonably priced hot breakfast. A few blocks from the nearest light rail stop, but all in all, a great choice for a visitor to the Texas Medical Center/Rice University area.

great location,service and friendly people not much to tell As stated above, this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It was close to the medical center that my wife needed to be at. All staff were very helpful. Would stay there again any time.
