Location was good. Very slow, small elevators, staff had to use it for the carts of cleaning/towell supplies at peak elevator times. Very clean, good location, nice staff, breakfast was excellent.

Free internet, location, room size & comfort. Location was awesome. Starbucks around the corner! Lots of restaurant choices, shopping and bars nearby. Room was not overcrowded like some NYC hotels.

Staff was excellent; very friendly and quite helpful. Hotel was relatively close to Penn Station, although the neighborhood was not especially good. Size of room and public areas was much too small, especially for the price.

Conveniently located. Room is very pleasant with new features. Small in size, but so most boutique hotels in NYC. Staff at check-in was rude. Other staff at the hotel were really nice.

The staff was very inviting, helpful and they remembered me early on so were extremely friendly. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The beds were super comfortable. The adjacent restaurant, Prime, had great food and the owners ([...] & [...]) were fabulous and friendly. I loved the location and truly I can't say enough about it! Good price and Great place!

Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, non-feather pillows. Bath room NYC sized. Hotel was very nice, front desk service was great. Rooms were clean , carpet was clean. Bath rooms were clean. Area around the hotel is currently being developed (2008) so at night it's not very nice.

The decoration of the rooms. Parking situation. Suprisingly, a very nice, affordable hotel in NYC. Not a lot of space, but the room looked very nice with an art-deco design.

Although young, I was impressed with the staff professionalism. All extremely helpful, the kitchen made late night dessert for us, by special request. Room was cramped, would have taken smaller than a king if we knew it would be so tight to move around. The location was 26 blocks from Rockefeller center. The staff was very helpful. At first I thought the staff were all quite young to be in charge at a desk, but, they were professional and very accommodating. The restaurant was small, but we had dinner out anyway. However, when we returned late at night, and requested a banana split and other dessert for a late night snack, the kitchen was able to do it. We were very pleased with how they went out of their way of serve us. The room was clean and attractive, but they simply put a king bed in a regular sized room. This made the room very small. there was only a foot and a half of space between the bed and the furniture.

Good for the free internet wireless connection. Telephones did not work (no wake up call) and small rooms. Good service, quite good location. Not such a difference from the Express hotels.

Great location, attractive room and comfortable bed. Our room was never cleaned by the maid service despite 3 requests. Although our room wasn't cleaned (after repeated requests), on the 4th request (late at night) the staff promptly delivered fresh sheets and towels and took away the old ones. Otherwise, staff was very solicitous and I would recommend the hotel to anyone who has realistic expectations for a centrally-located hotel room in Manhattan: the room was very clean and not too cramped, and the bed was comfortable.
