After a fifteen hour flight is was so nice to have the hotel staff prepare our room earlier than normal check-in time. They were always accomodating and friendly. It was lovely that they spoke English as well. We stayed in this hotel for five nights. It was five blocks from the nearest metro stop and we were able to navigate the city comfortably from this location. The breakfast and resturant had wonderful dining options. This was a wonderful place to stay and we would go back again in th future.

The A/C was out the entire time in our room in the middle of the summer...the AC leaked causing a musty foul odor. Breakfast was not worth the price. We had a huge puddle of water in front of the door everyday and night due to AC leaking. The shower leaked entire time and caused water all over floor. Would not stay here again. The price was high for what you get and location is not centrally located to anything.

The Holiday Inn-Paris Opera was very clean and well managed. However, the only thing that I wish could have been better is the sound proofing of the rooms. We could hear the gentleman in the next room snoring. Aside from the noise issue, our stay was wonderful. If I were ever in Paris again, I would be sure to stay at this hotel.

If you see the hotel pictures on websites, it looks fine. I had the Standard room, the bathroom tile cauks have BLACK MOLD EVERYWHERE, Shower doesn't drain, you can see GRIME by the toilet corners and UNDERNEITH THE TOILET PAPER COVER. They don't clean very well... It is located FAR from the Opera you need to take a TAXI costs around $ 13-14 USDollar. located in small street away from the main streets... not worth the money.

Hotel is located a less than ok neighborhood. Beds hard, bathroom adequate. Restaurant closes at ten, they turned us away at 1/4 til-even though they were still serving existing customers. Bar closes at 11pm, had a hard time getting service on more than one occasion. Everyday we hung the ""do not disturb"" on the door, but they came in everyday. Next time I'll stay on the left bank which is cleaner and appears to be safer. Check out Cityrama tours at 25 rue de pyramid for day trips.
