Location to the beach - Upscale rooms and services. Most vending machines were out of order Great Hotel: Room had great view of water with a balcony. Rooms were big and clean and offered many services of a higher end hotel. Restaurant was expensive but it had a great location so there were many eating options with- in walking distance.

This hotel is a great place to stay with kids. They have activities for the kids to do through out the day. In the evening time they show a movie by the pool on a big screen you can swim and watch or set on the pool deck. They have a lot of security people always walking around. Adults and children have to wear a bracelet at all times (showing that they are staying there). When coming back in from the ocean the security guard will ask to see it to let you back to the hotel area. It is a safe place to stay. While there the beach was closed for three days due to the currents and they still had things to do to keep them busy at the hotel. Will be staying again!!!!

What a great time. This is not a stuck up classy 5 star hotel. this is the perfect place for families or average vactioner to go to relax, have great views, and plenty to do. Staff was amazing, make sure to see cindy the bartender and ask for the angry pirate. hotel is right on the beach, huge pool plenty of chairs. famiies, and partiers can coexist at ease. would recomend to anyone.........

We were welll pleased with our accomodations; the room was large, clean, and a great view. Tthe pool area was exceptional and the beach was clean and the sand beautiful. At night they had a family friendly hula show and fire dance. We would definitely stay here again

We had a great time, but the hotel is a little dated. The furniture was in bad condition and the walls are stuco and the have collected dust in the ceiling and around the top were the ceiling meets the wall. The bed was pretty good, but the mattress was very old. Our overall rating for this hotel would be three stars, but with the necessary upgrades it could be a five star hotel. The food was good, but as we were paying we noticed a huge cock roach crawling up the wall near the air conditioning control and our waitress killed it with her hand. I feel these are things that are fixable and theses things will not deter me from visiting it again.

Stayed here in Feb. 2008. Beautiful location, all the rooms have a great view of the Gulf of Mexico, staff was great...only disppointing feature was we arrived in mid-February and it appears the hotel does NOT cater to winter travelers. The pool was not heated so taking a swim even in 70 degree sunshine was not possible, the 'hot tub' was luke warm, the pool side tiki bar was closed, the advertised breakfast buffet wasn't available. Very disappointing! Being from the north we would have liked to take advantage of the Florida sun and warm weather to take an occasional swim but in all honesty the Gulf was warmer. We spoke with the manager about the lack of a heated pool and the 'cool' tub, he indicated that it was ""too"" expensive to heat the pool. In previous stays at this hotel everything was open in February making our stay more pleasant because of this we decided to stay elsewhere. A shame really because this hotel is right on the beach road and close to restaurants and shopping. I certainly would recommend this hotel if they took care of their winter guests and at least had some of their amenities open, even if on a limited time basis.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida for the second time this year and we really enjoyed ourselves both in February and this past month of August. The room was very clean and smelled like laundry detergent when we walked in, and I love the sea kelp soap they leave for you in the bathroom! The atmosphere was great for adults and children alike with tons of activities for the kids, and the pool was beautiful! This is my favorite hotel in the area, and we hope to stay here on all our beach vacations in the future!

Our family stayed here in August of 2008 and it was wonderful! We traveled with our 2 children who are 1 and 3 yrs of age and they had a blast. All of the rooms are ocean front and have gorgeous views (unless you stay on the lower levels and then your view will be obstructed by palm trees). There is a nice little tiki bar on the walk to the beach from the hotel where you can sit and watch the ocean. The pool is wonderful and has a waterfall, there are 2 large hot tubs beside the pool and the Aqualand for children is AWESOME! We spent most of our time there and the children had a blast! All day long by the pool they have music (DJ or singers) and activities for children! They also give away free cake, cookies, watermelon, and have free water with lemon all day long! There is a grill by the pool that offers a variety of food (pizza, hot dogs, burgers, fries, shrimp...) and up to 4 children can eat free with the purchase of an adult meal!!! Every evening by the pool they have a torch lighting ceremony with Polynesian dancers and then they bring out a movie screen and show a different cartoon or family movie by the pool every night and give away free popcorn! You can also watch the nightly movie from your balcony (depending on the room you stay in, we had a great view of the movie). It truely was a wonderful stay and am looking forward to going back next year!

I enjoyed every thing about the hotel. Ms Phillis Canpeacy was no help. I did have a small problem. I was in the situation that I could not come. I talked with several people and got no help from no one. I have 2 small grandchildren that live with me so there fore I do not have $168.00 dollars to just give away. I even left a message for Mr. Cody Conne. But of course I never heard from him. I know it was a busy weekend and I know that you have rules. Under some circumstances these rules could be broke. I had just take off from my job and hope that I had one when I came back home. I also called in on Saturday since I stood a chance of losing my job I should enjoy it. I called for a extra day and was told that I could not reserve nothing on Saturday. There fore I had to say some where else. Which was a bad inconvenience for me. I would stay at the hotel again we really had a good time. I talked to one lady which was not going to help in anyway. Even though on her voice mail she says she is there for you.
