The front desk staff was very accomodating, frig in the room and the location was terrific! The bathtub could be updated. We were very pleased with the location and convenience to shops and restaurants. All staff we encountered were pleasant. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed the balcony. An overall great stay. We left with a smile.

Location was great. Brunch on Sunday was wonderful!!! We loved being near the water. Hotel was walking distance to several restaurants. Loved the brunch on Sunday at their rooftop dining room. Rooms were comfortable, little frigs in room and balcony with 2 chairs.

Location. Run down and needs renovation. Needs renovation. One of the few times I have been disappointed by this hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located on the waterfront, walking distance to many attractions. The view and balcony made it worthwhile. The bathroom needed renovating (tap dripped, tiles were molding, awkward light switch location) and coffee was not replaced each morning. For convenience and location, this hotel cannot be beat. The view from the balcony was wonderful and sounds from the park drift up to the room - especially nice with nighttime music from nearby eateries. It is directly on the waterfront, steps away from Boat Tours and Ferry. The downtown centre and park is less than a five minute walk. The parking (fee required, but does permit in and out privileges) was convenient and safe. It would have been nice if management had removed the pair of knickers that were in the tree just off our balcony.

Hotel met our expectations, well located to Downtown area. Walking distance to local dining /shopping. Well serviced by several local taxi companies. Balcony room with pleasant water view.

Enjoyed the large room, the balcony, the view, the amenities. Rooms need redecorating, restaurant did not appeal. Roomy hotel at the water front in the downtown core of Kingston. Bed was very comfortable, ample space in room. Small balcony offered access to fresh air and a view on the river and onto a large private sailboat parked right beside the hotel. All of this created a memorable ambiance.

For close to $* I expect a decent view, a clean room, a quiet air conditioner. This room was dingey, small, and the AC sounded like a train the whole night. View of the lake was obstructed. We cut our stay there and left after one night. This hotel was worth perhaps $100 nightly.

I have read the other reviews about this hotel and can't believe that they stayed at the same hotel as I did. I had a beautiful room overlooking the water. The lounge had a huge patio on the waterfront and the staff were very friendly and fun. I travel ALOT for business and I would definitely stay there again and again.

Location. Noisy partiers till 4:30 am. Great staff, location is awesome - near river cruises, park, city hall, restaurants, pubs, farmers market, downtown. Only negative was loud adult partiers up till 4:30 am on Saturday night. Not the hotels fault, but very annoying.

The view from the room was great and the location was excellent for our needs. Queen-size bed would have been nice and although there were some available the reception would not give us a free upgrade which I have had other times. It was pleasant, convenient and met our basic needs. A small convenience store in the hotel would have been helpful.

Nice view of the lakefront. Room was clean, spacious and large. It was a bit noisy in the hallways during the day due to a kids minor hockey tournament. But everything else was great.

The hotel was convenient to walk to most of downtown attractions. The furniture was seedy looking, a sofa bed had ripped upholstery on the arms, all of the furniture and rugs and wallpaper had stains and looked dirty. Wouldn't stay here again, housekeep left something to be desired. I had to ask housekeeping come back on the day we arrived and clean the dead sand flies on the windowsills, and on the wallpaper. Balconies didn't look like they had been cleaned in a while, cigarette butts etc. Asked the front desk where the closest beach was and was told it was about 1/2 hr away but couldn't be bother to map it for me. We found it ourselves purely by accident. Definitely is not a 3 star hotel

The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. We were not advised of a substantial parking fee before hand, and since we have a handicapped son we could not choose on street or off site parking. Lovely location, right on the water. Staff was very friendly and willing to assist. Hotel itself was ok, but lacked a little polish. The room was in good order except for some left over food in the fridge - which gave us an uneasy feeling that the place was not as clean as we hoped. The beds were very comfy. The bathroom was extremely small - a little more square footage there would have added a lot to the feel of the room in general. Wouldn't it be great if more than the luxury rooms could have jetted tubs? The bathroom is a very big part of the experience of the room and the stay.
