General Description

This Homestead property is conveniently located approximately four miles from the Raleigh/Durham International Airport and eight miles from downtown Durham and Duke University. Jordan Lake is roughly 20 miles away. The hotel specializes in extended-stay itineraries and thus provides on-site laundry facilities and provides dry cleaning service. Housekeeping service is provided on a twice-weekly basis for guests staying seven nights or more. Guests staying more than four nights (but less than a week) receive the mid-week refresh only. One pet is accepted per guestroom. The general manager has the authority to allow additional pets per room, based on his or her own discretion. Fees and deposits apply. All guestrooms have full kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and dining and cooking utensils. Other room amenities include workspaces with computer dataports, 1 Per Stay for unlimited local calls, personalized voicemail, and irons and full-size ironing boards. Pet Policy- One pet per room is allowed. A 25 USD cleaning fee will be charged per night, not to exceed 150 USD. This charge will be applied at check-in.

Kitchenette for very low price. They were very over booked so I had to wait for nearly and hour to get a room. They were going to send me away but I fought this. For some reason they were overbooked for the weekend I stayed there. I nearly didn't get a room. I had to be forceful with them to stay. I wanted to extend a day and they told me twice that they couldn't due to the overbooked situation. Then when I checked out the clerk told me, after I had paid that I could have stayed that night. Hotel was nice but the reservation system or those who are operating it are all screwed up.

The room setup was fantastic upon first glance, setup and area is great. But no utensils for kitchen, no iron in room, one closet door missing, shower backed up and loud noises overhead. But very clean. Friendly staff too.

Nothing that I can think of. Everything. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Some lights in the room did not work. The 2 knobs on the heater were gone so I could not adjust the temperature and ended up sleeping in a very cold room. The telephone plug near the work table did not work. I had to drag the telephone near the bed to the table. It would not reach so I had a hard time making internet connection. The room size was the smallest I have seen and so was the bathroom. There were no cups or glasses for drinking so I used the coffee pot to drink water. There was a coffee pot but no coffee, no sugar or cream. I asked for a wake up call and did not get it. When I went to the front desk to check why I did not get my wake up call, there was no one there, very dark.
