General Description

This Homestead property is conveniently located approximately five miles from downtown Fort Worth and 27 miles from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The hotel specializes in extended-stay itineraries and thus provides on-site laundry facilities and provides dry cleaning service. Housekeeping service is provided on a twice-weekly basis for guests staying seven nights or more. Guests staying more than four nights (but less than a week) receive the mid-week refresh only. One pet is accepted per guestroom. The general manager has the authority to allow additional pets per room, based on his or her own discretion. Fees and deposits apply. All guestrooms have full kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and dining and cooking utensils. Other room amenities include workspaces with computer dataports, one dollar per stay for unlimited local calls, personalized voicemail, and irons and full-size ironing boards. Pet Policy- One pet per room is allowed. A 25 USD cleaning fee will be charged per night, not to exceed 150 USD. This charge will be applied at check-in.

I liked the full kitchen. Only had one chair at kitchen table for two people not enough seating. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Wide variety of restaurants nearby, shopping center across street and close to Fort Worth Zoo. Easy access in and out of hotel.

Very good location for where we wanted to be. Although I asked for a hotel for 2 adults and one kid, it only had one bed. We were 2 adults and one kid. We did not care for the kitchenette which I'm sure is perfect for business travelers or people who want to stay more than one night. The room only had one double bed which made it an uncomfortable arrangement.

Good location. They gave us a smoking room even though we requested non smoking. Very small room. Smoking room was big problem for us. It stunk and messed up my clothes! Also, had to ask for shampoo, and found no wash clothes in bathroom. It was clean and fairly new. Office workers were nice, but could not offer non smoking room because she said they were full. Bad experience overall!

I visited Dallas for the Appaloosa World Show. This accom is the closest to Will Rogers. It was a great location and nice & quiet. Not 5 star, but certainly comfortable and clean. I'm booking to stay here again for 2008.

Thedouble sized bedwas very uncomfortable! First of all the size of the bed was too small and then it was way to soft, kind of like an old bed!

Very convenient to the Ft. Worth cultural district. Lot of money for a standard room that seemed quite small. First the agent put us into a smoking room - I about gagged. She did move us as she had one available, but it is always first come, first served. I like non-smoking enough to pay for it - I did not find that option available to me.

Location, price and service staff were unexpectedly good. No complimentary internet. Generally just a fine hotel for a location, and service staff that was unexpectedly good.

Quiet and clean, and a great value. Perfect for just one or two people...small and compact room with most everything you'll need. If you prefer to prepare & cook your own meals, the kitchenette (refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster) will be a plus. Basic utensils are provided but if you get really ambitious, there's a Williams-Sonoma store right across the street. The hotel is centrally located in a good area & is very convenient to downtown, the zoo, TCU, hospitals, Colonial. Upscale shopping & several restaurants are within walking distance. The Trinity River is directly behind the hotel, with a 30-mile bike/walking trail which goes all the way downtown. This is a no-frills hotel, so you won't have daily housekeeping unless you specifically request it (for an additional fee I think), but you can get fresh towels at the front desk. Seems like a pretty well run place, with the kind of amenities that you really need, rather than services you'll probably never use anyway.

Location near running trail. Drug dealers lived there. This was another extended stay hotel which housed low income local residents. The police were there on two occasions, apparently to arrest a drug dealer who lived there. I did not feel safe staying there. The bed was old and wouldn't stay on the frame right. There was also no housekeeping service offered for people staying less than a week. The room was very small so my business partner and I had to get another room.

Location was great, fridge was handy. Unidentifiable smell gave impression the room was unclean, though it didn't appear dirty. We were pleased with this hotel based on what we paid. I would not have been happy if I had higher expectations. It met our needs, and we were able to spend more money elsewhere.

We "lucked-out" that it was so close to the Will Rogers Auditorium & Highway Exit. No pool We didn't really stay in the room that much, but it was so easy to get to. A straight shot to the venue we were going to and right off the exit. We did not expect to get a room at the rate we quoted, then on the way to Texas we got worried that it would be in a really bad part of town for the price. We were definately HAPPILY Surprised!!
