General Description

The Homestead Tampa/North Airport offers affordable extended-stay accommodations with fully equipped kitchens approximately two miles from the Tampa International airport. The hotel offers guests access to a local health club, but charges may apply. With fully equipped kitchens in each suite, guests will be able to easily prepare healthy meals in the privacy and convenience of their own accommodations. Although there is not a full service restaurant inside the hotel, there are dining destinations nearby. Guest services include free parking, dry-cleaning/laundry valet, self-service laundry machines, 1 Per Stay for unlimited local calls, and limited business services. The hotel allows pets, but restrictions and fees apply. If you plan to bring your pet, please contact the hotel before your arrival to confirm the current pet policy. All accommodations are studio suites. Housekeeping is provided two times each week. Non-smoking rooms and rooms equipped for the physically challenged are available upon request. Standard amenities include a kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, cookware, utensils) cable television, dataport, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, private bathroom, telephone, and television. Pet Policy- One pet per room is allowed. A 25 USD cleaning fee will be charged per night, not to exceed 150 USD. This charge will be applied at check-in.

I enjoyed that the rooms had small kitchens. It saved allot of money. The kitchen was not equipped with very much, and the dishes were a little dirty. This hotel over all was a fantastic deal and I would definitely use the hotel again. It was very comfortable and roomy. The room was also clean and tidy.

Close to airport Would not give us a late checkout/desk not open 24 hours I would not book this hotel again willingly...location was in bad part of town...outdoor access...

Fortunately I did not have to pay to stay here. I was here partly on business. My wife and infant son were with me and we shared a two bed closet, literally. The small size of the room is not as bad as the carpet, which looked clean but was FILTHY. My poor baby's feet were black only after one quick crossing across the floor in bare feet. My schedule made it really difficult to make a room change, so we suffered through it and put socks on the baby's feet. It looks nice on the outside, but once you're in it seems depressing. Luckily we were moving on the following day. TOO SMALL AND DIRTY CARPETS!!

I'm accustomed to traveling, and I've stayed in rooms from the best to the cheapest, and this was one of my worst experiences ever. The hotel staff lied to and yelled at me because they didn't have any available non-smoking rooms. I was put into a smoking room (which they insisted was non-smoking) but it had an ash tray, cigarette burns on some of the furniture, and no non-smoking labeling like the rooms adjacent to it. They wouldn't do anything to resolve the situation and neither would on-site reservations.

It was clean and pleasant. It was a $15 cab ride to the airport and not close to any restaurants. The hotel was clean and pleasant, but not close to either restaurants or the airport ($15 by cab). If you are looking for a cheap place for temporary short-term living, it's ok but for someplace to stay near the airport, there are lots of better choices, some with airport shuttles. I was dis-appointed.

Close to the airport. Dirty coffee cups in room. Directions to the hotel were a bit difficult to follow. Could have been because it was 3 a.m. Parking near our room was difficult as the spaces were all full. Fortunately, a car left shortly after arrival. The hotel room was clean except for the coffee cups. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
