Service and attention to detail was impeccable. Staff made us feel welcome and offered many ways to make our stay a pleasure. For instance, they had valet go fetch our car 4 blocks away while we checked in. Hotel is tucked in to the historic neighborhood and can be hard to find, but it is worth the effort for sure. Facilities are beautiful, comfortable nad obviously well maintained. Our room was a little small for two because it is an old palace and they had to chop it up the best they could, making some rooms (ours) smaller. Strangely, our third guest, a single, got a rather large room. Room was very nice though and bathroom is top notch in all respects. The garden/pool area is fantastic. The spa is small but very nice. We had spectacular 8 course dinner in dining room sitting above roman ruins. A once in a lifetime experience. Overall I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff in every area is fantastic.
