The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, just few minutes away from the Motorway and the Amerigo Vespucci Airport. Both historical and industrial district are a short ride by public transport. The hotel has also a private covered garage. 0508 LB. It is a low rise building. Medium in size, elegantly furnished in light colours, with lamps to give a quiet atmosphere and small sitting area. All rooms have air conditioning, mini bar and a safe box. . Medium sized in a modern style. Reception is dark coloured and just on its left there is a large, carpeted sitting area with sofa and particular lamps. The hotel has no restaurant. 1 kms to the nearest airport (peretola), 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 3 km to the nearest fair site (fortezza da basso), 4 km to the nearest station (firenze smn), 4 kms to city centre.

This hotel takes up just the 1st floor of a high rise building not far from the airport. Parking is very difficult to find at the location and staff were unable to assist. Rooms are well-furnished but small by American standards (quite normal-sized compared to other hotels in Italy). Service is bare bones but also adequate. Room rates are very good by Florence/Italian standards. No airport shuttle, but cabs can be arranged. Taxi to downtown is around â‚¬23 and to the airport is around â‚¬15 - staff are good at making taxi arrangements and wake-up calls (no clock in rooms). Overall, a satisfactory experience for a travel day (with a very early morning departure), but wouldn't have wanted to spend any more time there.

If you want to be near the airport then this is your hotel! The hallways are quite shabby, but the room is clean and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was nice. This is a fly in or fly out spot.....no more than 1 night!

This is clearly no longer a 4 star hotel. Although clean, air conditioning did not work, nor did fridge or room safe. If you are taking a car you are able to park in the garage underneath (no connecting lift to hotel) as you will not get a space outside hotel. After saying all that, if you want somewhere clean and cheap to stay near the airport and think of 2 star rather than 4 you will not go far wrong.

This hotel was a great location for us since we were flying out the next morning at 730AM. The staff was very friendly and overly helpful with everything. The rooms were spacious and modern. An overall wonderful stay.
