Standard room was really not up to much.On street side ,so quite noisy.Location was fine, easy to reach from airport by train from airport to Passeig de Gracía.Very good tapas bar nearby and lovely little basement bar and other local restaurant which specialised in Catalonian cuisine. Walking distance into town and close to Gaudí places of interest.Not sure I would book again. Barking dog in next room was very good either.

Hotel was in a great location and very clean, only thing I would say is that the room was fairly small but was perfectly adequate as we were really only in it to sleep. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and bars, we did not eat in the hotel as there was so much choice around. 5 minutes walk from Passeig de Gracia and 2 mins from Rambla de Catalunya which we though was actually nicer than the main Ramblas area as there was loads of little cafe's and bars and the atmosphere was more relaxed. Easy to get around by bus (Especially important if going to the football as the taxi rates for returning from the football rocketed up). The reception staff recommened a restaurant to us which was just one street up from the hotel, the restuarant was expensive (Everything is in Barcelona) but the food was a real treat and so we thought it was worth it. Drinks are fairly expensive everywhere in Barcelona so chose wisely, the local drink ,Cava, was cheaper for a bottle than two pints of local beer

Good hotelRoom was clean, modern but quite 'compact'! Good location and helpful reception staff. We didn't eat at the hotel as there are plenty of other bars and restaurants nearby.
