It was fine for the amount we paidThis hotel is pretty cheap for Barcelona and we found that it was totally fine given the cheap rate. It is only two blocks away from La Ramblas which is great the like the other reviews say, it is in a bit of a dodgy area. I wouldn't recommend it for girls/women by themselves, but there are ways of avoiding it. There are prostitutes and guys hanging out in a bit of a courtyard at the front of the hotel but if you walk down the next street rather than straight through the courtyard its fine. The room was basic but beds were really comfortable and it was clean (they clean every morning and give fresh towels as well). It was also quiet which meant we had brillant sleeps (our room was back from the streets). Recommend for a basic place to stay thats close to town. Not so good if you are travelling alone though

Nice tidy basic room.Very good value for money when at the lower end of price range, but does have a tendency to shoot up into silly money for what is a basic clean room.

The area is dodgy, but high police presense created a feeling of safety. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Was really clean and in a good central location, was a little noisy from the street, but would definatly recommend.
