I wish the rooms were more inviting in appearance, but the beds were comfortable enough. We slept well because it was surprisingly quiet. It's right on the corner of the Grand Canal and a side canal, but was still pretty peaceful for sleeping late. We had 2 adults and 2 kids. There was even a hidden bed for one more in this room. This is rare in Europe. The breakfast was canned fruit, cereal and mediocre breads. Nothing felt like it had a homemade touch. They give plenty of towels, soaps (in packets)and "Buon Giorno" everyday. It says it has a bar, but no decent place to sit. AND NO INTERNET service. There was some ancient looking computer in the lobby, but it hadn't a prayer of working. In this day and age, that's a gaping hole in service for any grade hotel. However, that may be a Venice issue as I met some store owners who complained about their internet service as well. If so Venice should correct it. Overall I really hope that there exists a better value for $150/night in Venice.

This hotel has a grand location and is housed in a beautiful Venetian-style old building. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and have nice antique-like furniture. The only problem is the lack of an elevator, so don't bring heavy luggage with you! The breakfast was good, but can definitely be improved.

Perfect location, nice clean rooms, bathroom slightly "worn out". Anyway I do recommend, expecially rooms with canal view (not towards Grand Canal, but towards side canal).
