The Tyrol is what passes for a boutique hotel in Vienna. I would characterize it just as cozy and intimate. Small room, comfortable bed, good amenities, pretty good value for the money. Good location a short walk from the Ring and historical center. Quiet room upon request. We were only there one night so we didn't take advantages of the amenities, but they looked good (sauna, steam bath, free computer, etc.). The breakfast was excellent and the coffee outstanding. We would stay there again when we return to Vienna.

Very clean, very unique, great location, helpful staff, free breakfast... being small has its advantages. Only slight problem is the room rates aren't overly expensive but they aren't cheap either.
