Charles Sicli a renowned architect who built many famous Parisian theatres designed the Hotel de Castiglion. It was opened in 1932, decorated by the best artists of the time and became one of the most beautiful hotels in the city. This superior, first-class hotel is noted for its pleasant public areas and modern conveniences positioned on the Faubourg Saint-Honore. Hotel is ok, but somehow, I expected more. Room is not so big, bed unfortunately not so comfortable. But it is really in the center of Paris, good location. But, at the end, for the price you are paing, very ok.

We had a brilliant stay at the Castiglione, staff are really polite and friendly with a great sense of humour. What the room lacked in size it certainly made up for with the vista. We had a room on the 7th floor that had a balcony and a spectacular view of the Palais Royale and the Tower. Hotel has great access to the fashion district and some nice cafe's and restaurants. Would have stayed longer but the prices for the room for Wednesday and Thursday nights was prohibitive. Great stay, loved it.

Wifi internet 10â‚¬ for one hour very expensive and didn't work. You took your life in your hands to call the lift on 7th floor lift because the down button was missing! The hotel looked tired and clearly lived on its location. The staff made me feel I was lucky to have chosen their hotel.

Stood in the room for 5 mins in silence, the Motel 6 on I-10 outside Las Cruces NM was better than this by far. Only trouble was couldnt get my money back and go somewhere else. When I went to the staff about the accomodations they seemed suprised. The reservation I made was for 2 rooms with 3 adults. I was in 1 med rm with 3 single beds. The 3rd person was my wifes mom. 4 stars, no way.

The hotel was very centrally located, easy to get to almost everywhere. Rooms were nice but small by US standards. Staff friendly and Multilingual. $10/hr for internet and couldn't get it to work.

One of the worst hotel's I've ever stayed in. We had reservations for 3 nights but left after 2 nights the room was so bad. They said a 4 star but I wonder how they got that rating. The location is good, across the street from the british embassy and around the corner from the US embassy. Less than 3 blocks from the Metro. Room was small, bedding was questionable, staff was not congenial and there was no view. We left the hotel early because it was so bad. Got the hotel in a package deal and would recommend you try another hotel. Not hospitable to American travelers and were actually quite rude (they were not the typically "french" rude either, just plain old nasty and mean). Find another hotel quick! Don't make the same mistake I did by thinking the reviewers were over exaggerating. The only good thing I can say of this hotel was that the croissant's and coffee for breakfast were very good. Albeit we always had to wait to access the breakfast dinning area. Honestly, find another hotel that will leave a good taste in your mouth for Paris. This one will decidely not.

the staff was rude, there is no valet parking despite the description, the internet system is archaic, the cleaning lady walked in the room as if no one was there and without knocking, the floors and blankets were amazingly dirty! One of the worst hotel experience in my view.
