Good safe optionStayed for 2 nights and the hotel was clean, safe, well maintained and pleasant. Staff were helpful and unobstrusive. Rome is expensive, particularly since the Euro isn't in our favour and while normally I would expect a hotel/room to a bit more interesting/special for £130 a night, in comparison with other Rome hotels price appears reasonable.Hotel is close to the train station, but you can walk to all the main sights fairly easily if you don't mind a 25min walk. After 2 days walking around though our feet were killing us and the hotel was sufficiently far from the centre that we didn't want to go all the way back there to change before going out for the evening. Area felt safe, although there are a few characters aroud the station and it does get quiet in that part of town later at night. Like big cities everywhere, you need to keep an eye open.

perfect stayWe stayed at Hotel Domus for one evening on our last day of an Italy tour. It is located very near to Termini, was clean, and a was great value. I would absolutely recommend for someone who is looking for those requirements.

Nice, clean, basic. Not sure if thin walls or loud neighbours but loud voices kept me awake 2 of our three nights. Brothers very helpful. Woud stay here again.

Does exactly what is says on the tin A short walk straight down one road from the side of the station. Nice and easy. Not an incredible location, and not very well advertised or easy to see from the street. It only seems to feature on a door bell label next to a huge wooden door, the type of which you will see many of in Italy. Once through the door we were met by a nice man, who quickly booked us in, and answered all of our questions before showing us to our room. The room appeared to have been newly furnished and was as clean as a whistle. the only problem was that the safes battery had run out and we had to wait whilst the problem was diagnosed and the man went to buy a new battery.Perfectly placed for a train station visit. Friendly staff, very comfortable. Any niggles were quickly dwarfed by the awesomeness of Rome. We walked back from St Peters at midnight. Felt very safe and took about an hour, considering my wifes very sore feet
