Nice hotel, poor location for tourists.

The hotel is lovely, very old world with lots of marble but modern conveniences. Staff was helpful when asked but not overly friendly. Breakfast was included, but it didn't represent at all the wonderful food you find in Italy--something to get you going in the morning, but certainly nothing to look forward to. The rooms are comfortable and well sized, but pool was always closed anytime we came back from sightseeing. It's a somewhat residential area, so no sightseeing nearby, no where fun to walk to. The metro and buses are a short walk away, but most of the time we used taxi's. The hotel is far from anything you want to see, and no charming cafe's nearby.
