Slightly pricey, more if you don't book through Laterooms. Bathroom needed heat - the towel rail was not sufficient to take the chill off. Otherwise a good experience. Breakfast good.

Lovely StayLovely hotel, we only booked the night before just wanted to extend a shopping trip, Hotel is about 20 mins from centre of Cambridge on foot but the bus runs along the main road so we walked in and hopped on the bus to come back. Room very clean and spacious, reception very polite and helpful, really enjoyed breakfast although we had to pay £7.50 extra for full english but dining room had a nice relaxed atmosphere nothing was too much trouble, would stay there again when visiting the area, nice quiet surroundings. If you want to travel down the River Cam on a punt go in the morning on guided tour apparently in the afternoon its gets a bit manic with people who can't punt trying to do just that!!

Wonderful stay!We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Felix. We spent the night before and the night of our wedding there. The staff were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff upgraded our room free of charge because it was our wedding and extended our check out time. The food was wonderful and the room service and restaurant food was of a high quality and the prices were very reasonable. We will definately be staying there again!

The hotel room was lovely and exactly what we expected although some of the premiere rooms have seperate shower cubicles which ours unfortunately did not but I suppose this is luck of the draw.We were impressed with the staff who were all very friendly and professional.We would definately stay here again as the rooms and staff were lovely, however we would not eat in the Graffiti restaurant again as this was the only part of our stay we were not really that pleased with - no particular reason just did not think the standard of food was as good as we had perhaps imagined it would be.

One night stayWe only stayed one night but were impressed with the service especially at breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Rooms very modern and extremely clean. Didn't eat in the restaurant but have done before and was very good indeed. Hotel does add on extras which can become a bit excessive.

I arrived quite late so only had bar food service, but this was very good and quick to arrive.Staff all very helpful and pleasant and room was excellent - especially the bedlinen!Would definitely stay here again and make sure I arrived in time for dinner in the restaurant.

The accomodation was surperb and excellent value for money compared to booking direct with the hotel. The room was exactly as described and was very clean. The service was always good no matter what time of day you asked a question. We decided to eat in the restaurant as it was a special ocassion and although over our usual budget, it was well worth it. Would definately book here again for a special ocassion.

The check in was very friendly and swift. The television in the room was excellent, plenty of facilities such as internet and recent movies to watch but at a cost. I had to check out early and almost had to leave them a note as the staff were very tardy at responding considering I had been ringing the porter for a good while. Sadly I was ignored by another member of staff who just glanced and continued walking past reception.Beyond that the hotel is immaculate and well worth a visit.

Hotel Felix Review April 2009The room was modern and clean. The facilities in the room were excellent; coffee making facilities, flat screen TV and a laptop friendly safe. There were ample towels for two people and plenty of bathroom products. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, the serving hours were perfect and the restaurant was very well presented.Three minor problems with the room; access to the coffee making facilities and mini bar were restricted, the door handle into the bathroom was faulty and there were items left under the bed which should have been removed during the cleaning of the room.I was disappointed with the WiFi charges and no complimentary newspapers.
