Great location! prefect for a quick stop over in paris ... gives you a short walk to the eiffel tower and Les Invalides. Very close to 2 metro stations which allows quick transfer to anywhere in the city.

I've stayed at several moderately priced hotels in Paris over the past three years and this is the best of them. The hotel is well situated in the 15th arrondissement, adjacent to one Metro stop and near others. An easy traansfer can be made to lines serving all destinations in Paris. I was easil;y able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, Invalides, and Rodin Museum. A small lift serves the five floors. Room was compact but quite pleasant and cheery. Bathroom very modern though quite small--a little hard to bend over the sink without ramming backside into opposite wall, possibly inconvenient for some larger individuals. A wonderful central airconditioning kept the room cool and very pleasant for sleeping in hot and humid Parisian weather. This alone was worth every penny paid. Staff were able and accommodating at all times, able to speak English but willing to work with my French. The breakfast was adequate but not quite as good as these other aspects of the hotel. Cold foods, with cannisters of hot milk and coffee, all self-service, in a typical underground complex of rooms, with ample space and cheerful decor. The neighborhood is \"real\" as opposed to a tourist center, with plenty of brasseries, bistros, and restos, as well as a Monoprix, a late-hours shop for beer, snacks, and other essentials, and many other stores. At under 100 euro per night this was a good bargain, the best combination of price, comfort, and convenience I have found.

Great location and good views of Eiffel Tower from bedroom window. Lift broken so had to climb 6 floors with suitcases and up and down during duration of stay - not good when pregnant! Room clean and ample size for 3 of us.

ALthough the hotel lift was out of use and the stairs VERY steep and tiring (We requested a view of the Eiffel tower so was on the 5th floor) it is a great hotel to stay at as it offers great value for money. With the tube right outsde / a 10 mins walk to Eiffel Tower and great friendly restaurants and bars right outside the door. request a low level room if got small children.

Worst hotel everStayed at this hotel on 23/3/09 because of the price and location. Hotel was advertised as having a view of the Eiffel Tower. The only view I got was the other side of the hotel building. The air con/heater was not working - even if it was, there was no way for me to tell if it was. The mini fridge bar was not on. Tried to turn it on the conventional way, i.e. using the thermostet dial in the fridge, but nothing happened. Despite this, we attempted to store a couple of bottles in the fridge. Got up in the morning and found our bottles were still warm. Told the hotel manager about this and he had the audacity to say that the fridge was only for his drinks. After some argument, I told him he may as well take the fridge away - and he did. Other hotel staff were good though - not their hotel anyway, so they were more pleasant and accommodating. The bed sank in the middle - could feel the springs and the pillows felt as if an elephant had run over them. Anyway, for the price and convenience of the metro (only a minute away), we decided to put up with the hassles. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. A lot of good hotels nearby.

A good, clean, modest hotel right next to La Motte Picquet metro station (but I was not disturbed by the metro during the night, even thought my rom overlooked it and I had the window open). Located close to a wide choice of restaurants (I can recommend the Pierrot opposite McDonalds). Also not far from the Eiffel Tower (2 stops on the metro). At €72 for B&B, this was very good value

As others have observed, very good location for 'doing' Paris with Metro station close by. Helpful staff, asked for quiet room and we got one!! Exploring Paris involves a lot of stairs and a lot of walking so take really comfortable footware.

Great LocationStayed here for a weekend during the French Open tennis. The hotel is ideally located for the Metro, and is only about a ten minute ride to Roland Garros. Also a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and a ten minute ride to the Latin Quarter. Room was small but reasonably quiet.

Hotel Grenelle ParisThe hotel was fairly basic for the price and not particularly modern, but was clean and the staff on the desk were helpful.Location is good in that it is right outside a metro station and only a few stops from the centre of the city. Eiffel Tower is 15mins walk away. Several reasonable eating places are across the road and a supermarket is 2 mins walk away.

Great location (right round the corner) but didn't feel entirely comfortable at night walking around. Not a very wide variety of choice for breakfast but what was there was sufficient enough. Stayed 2 nights and on first night asked for extra pillow however was told the door was locked and wasnt able to get one till the next day when the chambermaid arrived. Having said that it was in the room for the next night, the staff were friendly and willing to help and it was clean enough. For the amount of time we spent in the room, which was little, it suit the purpose and was extremely reasonable in price compared with others.

The female owner was dreadfully rude to me, but everyone else was pleasant enough. No need to book a double room if you're on your own, they'll charge 11e extra you for it but you'll still have 2 single beds. They charge 20e extra again to make up a double bed from two twins! So if you want to stay here cheaply just accept the deal as advertised and you'll be happy enough. Great location, no noise but really central and right beside the metro station
