Ibis Nottingham Centre - Nottingham's newest hotel is located in the heart of the city centre on the edge of the vibrant Lace Market area. The perfect location for business or pleasure, with all of Nottingham's attractions, such as the Nottingham Arena within an easy walk. The hotel offers 142 non-smoking bedrooms featuring flat screen TV (with pay movies and Internet access), direct-dial telephones, high speed Internet connections, black out blinds and power showers. We offer a wide range of drinks from the bar, a 24hr snack menu and Continental buffet breakfast options from 4am to noon daily, Cooked Breakfast available from 6.30am until 10am (12 noon on Saturday and Sunday). WiFi and internet kiosk is also located in the hotel lounge. Getting here couldn't be easier, with a tram stop outside the hotel, a public paying car park opposite and a short walk form the bus and train stations.

Other reviews warned this hotel was noisy both inside and outside and they were partly right. Being a Wednesday, it was quiet outside but sadly a group on the same floor were very inconsiderate and even though it was 2.15am, they wished each other good night as if they were in the middle of a field! The rooms on the 5th floor have super views over the city and it could not be more central.

Thank goodness for blackout blindsThe blackout blinds and curtains kept the room dark in the oh too bright daylight in the morning. The room temperature could be regulated PROPERLY. Took ages to find the wastebin!!! Quite noisy in the corridors. Staff friendly. Bed comfy. Bedroom lights quite gloomy.

Very clean, decent, plain breakfast and brilliant situation. I loved the shower room!It would have been nice to have some information in the room about the bar menu, etc. Room service would be good for people staying there on their own who don't necessarily want to go down to the bar.Internet connection was lost for some of the time that was paid for. There was no attempt made to let me know that it was off, when it was back on, or to give any compensation. I wasn't that bothered about the money, just the inconvenience and the fact that this wasn't acknowledged in any way.I would go back though.

Cricket stayStayed at this hotel during the criket Twenty20 World Cup, and had to pay inflated prices.Apart from that stay was good, room was clean and service was friendly and helpful.
