Absolutely flawless service, excellent stay. I love the beautiful building and exquisitely decorated rooms. For $100 a night, WAY better than the bargain places!

The decor was great, and the bathroom was huge! Parking was very pricey! The room was great, nice bedding and the bathroom was fantastic. Everything was great, but they did seem to be slightly understaffed at the front desk. We has to wait in line for about 15 minutes to check in. The accommodations were worth the wait, however. We really liked the candy buffet set up in the lobby. We helped our selves a couple of times! Great location in the heart of nightlife and restaurants.

Very professional staff, there was a mistake on the reservation and the first room they gave didn't match what we requested but they fixed it quickly and the new room was perfect.. the jacuzzi with a windows to the bedrooms is great. The service was great and the free downtown shuttle is super convenient (my wife is 8 1/2 month pregnant so no walking for her) Overall a great experience, we'll be back to the Icon

The rooms were beautiful and the staff was very eager to help with any of our needs. I would have loved to have had a room with a bath tub and the lighting was not great for applying make-up. Upon entering the hotel, my husband and I were very impressed with its beauty. Room service was great- the food was good and delivered to our room in less time than was estimated. All of the small touches added by the hotel were really nice as well. We plan to stay there again.

Very good service, very nice rooms especially the bathroom. The location was nice but the night life was not to my liking. I would definitely stay here again though.

Rooms are large, clean and well designed. Not impressed with the location - safety is questionable, few quality restaurants. Great hotel in a poor location. Was hoping for more with Downtown Houston, but it has a long way to go to match the revitalized downtowns of other major cities. Overnight parking is impossible without using a $25 valet service. Parking is free on the streets after 6 p.m., but you have to move your car by 7 a.m. Rooms are fantastic, bar/lounge is well designed and enjoyable. Downtown needs to catch up to this hotel, but there sure are a lot of vacant store fronts and former restaurants - depressing.

Convenient Downtown location. Very small room. No bath tub. No bathtub for available for bath/spa experience. Other rooms in hotel were larger with up to king size beds not available despite requesting prior to arrival.

Distinctive. Awesome hotel. Incredible! I love the restored look of the old bank building. The staff were warm and personable and welcome to talk about the building. The rooms were wonderful. We will definitely return.

Old bank building covered into large guest rooms with Texas size bathrooms, featuring separate showers and huge tubs. All staff personnel very friendly.

We came to Houston to watch baseball and the hotel is within walking distance of Minute Maid Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we left our laptop in the cab. They tracked down our laptop and brought it up to our room within 15 minutes. Wow. This hotel is in the good part of the business district and there are quite a few nice restaurants you can walk to. The restaurant in the hotel was very good as well. We would definately stay again.

I booked the hotel not knowing exactly what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent (valet, front office and restaurant). The rooms are tastefully decorated (not the modern boutique look, but a nice upscale feel). Breakfast in Bank restaurant was quite good and served quickly. This is definitely one of Houston's best hotels.

We really wanted to like this hotel. From the beginning, everything was just too difficult. They downgraded the room we reserved and paid for. It took nearly 30 minutes to get a key to the proper room, which forced us to cancel other plans. Lights were broken or burned out in the bathroom. Water from a previous guest was left in the ice bucket. Room service would hang up on us when we called. And, getting ice in this hotel--just forget about it. Such a shame that we had to work so hard during what was supposed to be a leisurely experience.

Hotel Icon saved me from driving from Dallas to New Orleans overnight. I was completely lost and the receptionist was more than happy to stay on the phone with me until I arrived. They treated me like royalty my entire visit. I will only stay at Icon when I'm in Houston from now on.

It was very eclectic. The room needed new paint. Valet parking was expensive. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The complementary shuttle service came in very handy when traveling to downtown events.

It was great, we were able to, dine, dance, and relax. The only thing bad, was the fact that our room faced a Jazz cafe across the street and we could here everything.

The hotel was in a great location, which was one of the primary factors affecting the decision to stay there. It was very expensive to valet park the car overnight, there was no pool, and items in the hotel were overly expensive.

Our jacuzzi tub had a window that opened up to the rest of the room. The service is excellent. Hotel service was excellent! They seem to anticipate what you want before you even ask.
