Modern, comfortable, clean, quiet. No pool, small and old danishes, expensive breakfast. A beautiful hotel located in downtown Sarasota, easily accesible, close to main street and shops. Central location to a variety of places and beaches. Overall a wonderful hotel!

The staff was friendly and the room was nice. I have traveled to Sarasota plenty of times and most of the time you have to deal with the mildew smell due to the ocean. This hotel did not have that smell it was fresh and had lovely hard wood floors in the room with a spacious shower. I would stay at this hotel again.

Location and haiku/colors/ underground parking. I felt the shower was unsafe. Glass and tile - no safety rails or mats; tile slippery. Had to be extremely cautious when showering. The Indigo Hotel was a pleasant surprise for us. We were in Sarasota for concerts and the hotel was in an extremely convenient location. We definitely will stay there again. The Indigo theme of the hotel, the haikus and creative colors added to the charm. I especially appreciated the availability of computers for free in the business center. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Very nice, small, hotel. Created as a boutique hotel, unfortunately they reproduced what's wrong with boutique hotels, too. E.G., no tub, let alone a jacuzzi tub, in the room. But clean, super service, nice restaurant/bar in lobby, nicely decorated, just a very comfortable place to stay. It would be especially appealing to repeat business who could treat it as a home away from home."

First of all, the decor is quite appealing! The colors are soothing and the aromas are not intrusive. The complimentary airport shuttle was ultra convenient and the staff was quite pleasant and helpful. The women were great at the front desk, as was the crew who attended to our food and beverage requests both courteously and expeditiously. And the food was really tasty! There were a plethora of other food options within walking distance, my favorite of which was Whole Foods! But there was no fridge in the room to salvage leftovers. A movie theater, multi-ethnic food choices, banks, a yoga studio and boutiques were among the offerings just a 10-minute walk away. Not to mention the Van Dezel performing arts center, which has ample parking but is also right outside the door. A cozy workout room is available round the clock and the lobby is just as inviting as the rooms. Great place for a grown-up getaway -- be it a girls or guys weekend, or a romantic rendevous.

We were originally supposed to stay 4 nights, but found Hotel Indigo so peaceful and relaxing that we extended our stay an extra night! My husband and I traveled to Sarasota for his out-patient surgery; I booked at Hotel Indigo because it looked like a good place to rest and recover after his surgery...and I was right! Everything was amazing, including the staff. It was friendly, clean, and all around perfect. With wireless internet anywhere in the building, it also afforded me the opportunity to complete some online classes while allowing my husband to enjoy a beverage and a football game in the lounge area. The location was ideal, we were only minutes away from everywhere we wanted to be...from St. Armand's circle to downtown to casual dining and shopping. We felt so at home at Hotel Indigo and were sad to leave it behind.

We went for a night to see a concert at the Van Wezel center, the hotel is across the road. The rooms were very clean and inviting, the restaurant was excellent, the staff was friendly and well informed. Everything was great, even my husband agreed and he has worked at very high end hotels that charge thousands per night for some rooms and said that this was better by far.

Cleanliness, refreshing scents, big comfy beds, great food, and freindly staff everywhere you turn. That was my experience at the Hotel Indigo. It was my first time staying and I can tell you it will surely not be my last. I was on a buisness trip and without a car but it was great to know that the complimentary shuttle picks you right up at the airport and even better to know that you are in walking distance from the beautiful downtown! I can truly call the Hotel Indigo my home away from home.

This is an great location in Sarasota to all the city has to offer for us. We had a bunch of friends meet us in Sarsota . The hotel had a great location to the beaches, shopping and dining. On Friday we went to a blues event at the property...it was really cool. We love this place and would recommend to anyone ....we are coming back with our kids in the Summer.

Trendy yet comfortable. No fridge and microwave. The Hotel Indigo is consistently pleasurable to stay at, I have no complaints only compliments. Will stay at an Indigo anytime one is available because it is the best stay for the money. I wish it had a fridge and microwave but that's just me being picky.
