This hotel was in a great location and close to multiple subway stops, and the subway is easy to use in Paris. The bed was very comfortable, and our room facing the courtyard was very quiet. We could open the windows at night and still relax in peace and quiet. The room is a little small, but apparently that's what you get in Paris. It was plenty big for our purposes, which was to sleep at night in preparation for sightseeing! The hotel staff spoke English, and were very helpful in letting us bring our bags early and leave our bags after checking out while waiting for our train late in the day.

We arrived at La Perle after a week on a barge along the Canal du Midi, so were especially appreciative of the comfortable beds and great shower! This pretty hotel is on a charming street, which is very close to the St. Sulpice and an easy walk to St. Germain and the Seine. There are also numerous good restaurants within 3 blocks.The staff was great - very friendly and eager to help with any of your needs. Also, a pretty courtyard for breakfast and a cozy little bar area, which was great to meet up with our friends for a kir before going out to dinner.I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Paris.
