I have been there for 4 nights over Easter. I booked a single room and as I booked late it was a bit pricey for European standards. Nevertheless, the room was nice, clean, modern, confortable and silent. Breakfast was good quality and fresh with all I wanted. People were friendly if not all were able to speak English. The only downside is the location. It is about 70 minutes from Alexanderplatz via the tube. The area is Spandau which is the suburb area on the west of the centre of Berlin very close to the 2 central airports but one hour from Shonefeuld airport. All in all a good stay for me and I would certainly recommend the place.

We were attending a Rock Concert at Zitadelle, Spandau Berlin and required a hotel very near by. The staff were very friendly, helpful and great at speaking English - our German is limited to the usual 'Where is the train station please?'. The rooms were not the biggest and you can't party in the bathroom, but hey we only wanted to sleep there! The rooms were very clean, had all requirements and a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was a great continental selection of meats, cheese, breads, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, cake an the breakfast room was light and airy. Plenty of local shops,bars and restaurants situated on your doorstep with a nice, quiet and freindly atmosphere. Great hotel.

The staff are very accommodating, we arrived very late but they were there to welcome us and they kept our luggage safely after we had checked out so that we didn't have to carry it all day. The rooms were very clean and had all you need. It is close to station and underground, with a direct train to Shoenefeld airport. The hotel is about 20 mins from the centre of Berlin in a pleasant quiet area with nice places to eat which were not expensive.
