Within walking distance from most major Rome attractions, as well as the train station. The staff here was great. They were very helpful on finding directions to the attractions and dining. As are most European hotels, the rooms are very small, but adequate since most of the time here was to sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

Our first trip to Italy....we spent the first two nights in Rome at Hotel Lirico. Our stay was perfect. The room faced the street with a big window that opened so I could hang out the window and take in all the sounds, sights, and smells. The room was clean, the staff 4 star, and the experience was more than we expected. All staff spoke enough english and were more than helpfull with imput on were to eat and what to see. They had arranged for a taxi from the airport when we arrived. However, the Hotel was close enough to the train station which we used back to the airport. We will go back to this hotel again. THANK YOU SO MUCH HOTEL LIRICO !!

I was disappointed in the breakfast, the coffee was terrible and for Italy that is surprising. The rooms were very very very small. The hotel is also upstairs without an elevator so with luggage it was a challenge.

1. Even though check-in is at 14:00, our room was ready at 11:00 2. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially xxxx 3. Breakfast was beyond our expectation - cheese, cold cuts, cereal, croissant (3 kinds), toppings, a veriety of coffee, tea, soft drinks and fresh fruit. 4. The room was spacious, the bed Queen size, There was a small bath with hot water arround the clock and A TOWEL WARMER. 5. The room was clean 6. Location - Exelent, within a walking distance of almost everywhere. there is a supermarket accross the street. Down side - there are about 20 steps to climb...

Hotel Lirico is a great boutique hotel and a good value. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The man at the front desk gave us great recommendations for restaurants, transportation, etc. Breakfast is good, especially the coffee and is included in the price of the room. We had a double bed and a twin bed in our room which was perfect as there were 3 of us. The AC did not seem to be cold enough, but we were there in August and the heat was just unbearable. The hotel's location is convenient. We were able to walk almost everywhere. I also recommend buying tickets for the hop on, hop off double decker bus tour. Ask the front desk for directions and details. Overall, we were really happy with our stay at Hotel Lirico, just avoid traveling to Rome in general in July or August! :-)
