Very very loudThe room was extremely loud with traffic noises. At night this did not improve, even with earplugs

Okay The hotel is quite small, but good value for the price paid. Room was very clean, if a bit dated.Great location, 2 mins from Metro and easy to walk to many busy side streets.

My friend and I had a great time in Paris. The hotel was brilliant because of its central location.I can't enthuse enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were at the Hotel Rivoli. I've stopped in French hotels many times and have never met any other staff that were as lovely as these. The room was clean, tidy and warm, which was a relief as it was so cold outside. Comfy beds and a large bathroom. Will definately stay again.

I liked this hotel - the location was brilliant - 200m from St Paul metro and easy walking distance to the islands - fab. The receptionist was very helpful. Rooms on the front - compact as expected, but clean. The alternative rooms on the back were dark, so take your choice. Excellent value for money (£84 per room) included breakfast - continental - served strictly up until 10am! Rue de Rivoli is a busy street and it was noisy - the only complaint I would have. I would take earplugs next time.

DissapointedThe hotel is run down, small and the rooms far from spacious. The location is good, although if you get a room on the street I would assume it is exceptionally noisy. The breakfast is basic but plentiful and staff were accommodating as much as they could be when we first saw the room. I think there are much nicer places you could stay at.

An excellent locationI read mixed reviews about this hotel before staying. My experience was all good. Its location was very central and we walked everywhere rather than taking the Metro. The staff were very helpful and the room was perfect for a couple of nights. Our bathroom was very big and the room was quiet as it was at the back of the hotel.

Stayed at Hotel Paris Rivoli for short break in early January. A Superb location for Paris sightseeing, central to all the sites or easy access by Metro. 3 minutes walk to Hotel De Ville 5 minutes to Notre Dame,Ile de La Cite, Latin Quarter. The Marais district is facing you accross the Rue de Rivoli. Fascinating. The nearest Metro is St Paul, 500 metres to your right. Line 1 will take you to Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Pace De La Concorde, Champs Elysees, Arce De Triomphe, La Defense without having to worry about changing trains but in any case if you get off at any stop you are within walking distance of the big sites. The weather outside was very cold and we were very glad of the warmth of our room. There was also air-conditioning but believe me we didnt need it it as it was 7 below outside. It is a typical small Paris hotel with small breakfast bar and reception area. Rooms were very clean and cleaned everyday. Small fridge was good for bringing drinks and snacks back but takeaways not allowed. There is TV but no English language, which was fine as you are out sightseeing most of the time. The staff were very helpful always and welcoming. Just one proviso. We were at front of Hotel and Rue de Rivoli can be noisy - mopeds mostly- so bring earplugs or get a room at the back. Will be back.
