Close and clean, but god they're miserable!The hotel is in a convenient locatation, a 10 minute walk of Duomo and the metro. The rooms are OK - clean and quiet with a reasonable bed. The overwhelming memory of this hotel, however, is the staff. OK, so we're in Italy and don't speak Italian so there is going to be a communication problem (our fault, not theirs) but you can smile in any language! The night porter and the lady at breakfast (a croissant and a coffee) were the worst - a grunt was the best we got. It's a shame because the guy who I would have guessed as being the owner was a jolly soul, but not there much.If you want convenience and don't expect customer service, this hotel is fine. If you want more than just a room, go somewhere else.
