The location is excellent. Out of the bustle of Venice itself meant the price was much lower. However the daily boat trip into San Marco was an absolute pleasure and definately added to the Venice experience. Fabulous

The Riviera Hotel was so much more than we expected. Three of us stayed in room #73 which was very large, even by U.S. standards. It was on the top floor of the hotel and had beautiful views of Venice. Everything was located very close to the hotel and the water taxi station was right across the street, so hopping from one island to another was easy and convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at the Riviera on our next visit to Venice.

Very nice view of the lagoon...well maintained, 2 minute walk to waterbus or road bus on lido. nice getaway from crowds in venice with just 10 min boat ride to san marco or take 10 min walk past eateries and shops , and supermarket on way to beach. check in was ok but large group came in and got lost in shuffle,had our passports (til later?) for about 3 hours,didn't like that but... Will stay here again! highly recomend to others
