noise insulation wasnt great - we had a very noisy amorous couple next door!location great - hotel has charm but is dated. rooms with windows facing the street will be lighter and nicer than those facing the courtyard which were bit dark. there was always someone cleaning something in the hotel so they obviously take pride in keeping it clean.good value for money considering the price.

Great Find!Would recommend the Santander, lovely old building with lots of character, spotlessly clean and in an excellent location for exploring this wonderful city. Would go back.

The location was very good (one-two min from the metro). The hotel is close to every sightseeing places, and there are many good Tapas to eat out near the hotel.

The Hotel Santader is an small but comfortable Hotel in The centre of Madrid where the staffare polite and also very helpful, the Hotel is an ideal base for for shopping and sightseeing andwithin short walking distances of very good restaraunts and bars, it can be a bit noisy at timesbut bearable considering it to be in the City centre, and I would have no problem staying atThe Hotel Santader when I make my next visit to Madrid.
