Stayed in this hotel last week with my two teenage children. Clean but basic. Fresh towels every day, beds made and bathroom cleaned daily too. Staff friendly and helpful. Good variety of restaurants, cafes etc in the area. Metro stops just a couple of minutes walk. Supermarkets and chemist and McDonalds nearby too for anyone with fussy kids! CNN and music channel on tv for those missing English language.All in all, I would return. Good value.

this is a great hotel. naturally, the bathroom and elevator are on the small side, just like every other hotel in paris under 4 stars. i found the room to be rather spacious. there are lots of amenities like TV and wifi in the room and a vending machine in the lobby. the staff is very accommodating - they let you leave your suitcase before and after your check-in/-out. everything you need is close by: métro, supermarkets and épiciers, good brasseries and boulangeries, etc. if you want to avoid dragging your luggage through the république métro station, jacques bonsergent is also very close to the hotel.

We were looking for a clean affordable place to stay within walking distance of many of the city's sites and close to the Marais. We walk on average more than 15 km a day when we are in Paris. This hotel was in a good location, the staff were very pleasant and accommodating, it was clean and dependable. Our room did not have a street window, but opened onto an interior "well" of windows. It was warm when we were there (Late May/early June) so windows were open at night. No security issues, but we could hear people talking and snoring quite easily. Good water pressure in the shower, lots of water, though a bit cramped for space (one of us is 6'4" tall). Beds were comfortable. As a place to crash after a long day of walking and sightseeing it was perfectly fine.

Our small family of three really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff very helpful. The location was good and once we got the hang of the Metro it was very convenient. I would be more than happy to stay there again upon return.
