The hotel is located in Belleville (19th arrondisement), a funky, ethnic neighborhood. While not right in the center of Paris, it is just a few steps from the metro and so is just a few minutes away from the traditional tourist areas. My room was clean and quiet. The breakfast (which cost 7 1/2 euros) was nothing special but adequate for a non-breakfast lover such as myself. The one criticism I have is that I told them that my hairdryer was not working on a couple of occasions, but nothing was done about this. All in all, it was a good stay at a good price.

We were looking for a cheap hotel to stay for one night on our way to London. It was very affordable, but comfortable and no complaints at all. It's in a great location, literally right outside a metro stop and the area is not very touristy so there are a lot of good bars and cafes. I would recommend for someone looking for a good deal, especially because of the very hospitable staff. I travel frequently and the gentleman who helped us check in was the most pleasant I've encountered overseas.
