General Description
A corporate hotel located just a few miles from O'Hare International Airport and 15 miles from downtown Chicago, the 206-room Hyatt Rosement has dining, recreational and in-room services for both the business and leisure traveler. The River Terrace Cafe and Lounge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and a has full bar menu. The lounge area has TVs and data ports for those who want to eat, drink, watch and work. There is also the River Terrace To Go, which serves light fare for breakfast and lunch. Guests can take advantage of the fully-equipped, on-site fitness center or play tennis or jog nearby. There are golf courses both ten and 20 miles away. Hotel services include a business center, concierge, assistive devices for persons with disabilities, laundry/dry cleaning facilities, covered parking, safety deposit boxes at front desk. Room amenities include remote-control cable TV, in-room pay movies, telephone with voice mail and computer hook-up, video messages, account review and check-out, individual climate control, electronic door locks, iron, ironing board AM/FM alarm clock, coffee maker, refrigerator,hair dryer, and safe.

Their service! We needed an extra bed and they changed the room for free! It would have been nice to have a pool, especially for the children. I was treated by all the staff I encountered like I was a VIP. When we picked up our grandkids and they needed a bed they brought up a rollaway. The next day they allowed us to change from a king suite to two queens. This did not affect my charges, and they even kept us on the same floor. When the power went out they explained the situation, and gave us a time when the power would be back on. I was impressed by their friendliness, and their professionalism.

The bed was the best hotel bed I have sleet on. Personnel was not friendly during check-in. This hotel was very nice and comfortable. I would stay again the next time I am in the area.

Hotel staff was exceptionally professional and friendly. Hotel room directly connected to adjoining roof. From the moment we walked in, the staff were delightful and courteous. Our room was very clean.

Good hotel and it is full of non smoking hotel rooms. Parking should have been secured. They charged $30 for checking out before 3 pm (between 1 and 3 is $30 additional charge). In fact I arrived very late to the hotel and informed them well ahead about the delay (why they did not give discount for late arrival!). I did not understand why they charged $30 more as though the room was to be filled immediately!

Clean, attractive, modern, comfortable bed. Hard to find from airport. Nice, comfortable, modern, clean. Be sure to get good directions though, road work in the neighborhood makes it hard to find at night.

Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable. No pool. Just needed a place to stay for a night as military son's flight left yearly in morning. Room was spacious, nice hotel, friendly staff. Would stay there again. Only thing, it did not have a pool. Workout room was great.

This Hyatt is a very nice hotel - especially considering that so many hotels in this area that offer higher levels of service cost more and charge for parking. This hotel has the higher-end service and does not charge for parking. The rooms, although somewhat on the small side, are perfectly fine. They were clean and well decorated. This was our second stay on our annual drive to Wisconsin. This hotel is within walking distance of the CTA and as such gives easy access to downtown - where all the fun is anyway. If you are flying this is a nice place too as it is close to Ohare. It is a quiet hotel as well. The dining set up is in two categories. There is a full service dining room. Skip it. Go into the downtown area. Chicago is loaded with great restaurants and easy access to the CTAa will get you there quickly if you don't want to drive - but seriously... leave the car and don't burden yourself with having to find a parking place downtown - take the CTA... you'll thank yourself. There is a quick-service dining area that is great for coffee and pastries, fruit, cereal and that kind of thing for breakfast. Unless you have a nice breakfast scheduled as part of your day, that is a good option.
This hotel is right off the Tri-State tollway (I-294) that links the norning Indiana area, Chicago and Wisconsin. For ease of getting out of town and going on, this is a great location too.

Staff VERY friendly! Room was clean. Had a good, $10 Cobb salad for lunch. The staff delivered extra towels quickly. They have a nice patio & they didn't mind when we ordered pizzas and played cards. I was disappointed when I found out there was no pool. I was a little miffed when I found out that they charge you to use the Internet... free for 15 minutes, then $5 for each additional 15 minutes! Yikes!

Nice work out room. The hotel restaurant was way overpriced. The hotel is pretty much in the middle of nothing, so I had to eat at the hotel, which was extremely overpriced for what I received. Otherwise it was fine.

Price and Cleanliness. Careless Front-desk, All facilities are charged. Good: Hyatt, Cleanliness, Transportation Facilities - Free shuttle to airport. Bad: Front-desk not careful - they forgot to take care of my extension of stay and allotted the room to somebody else. I had to struggle to get my things back, Expensive - Food, water, internet etc.

I liked the hotel's location, public common areas, decor, bedding and free parking. I did not like that there was no microwave in the room and that the refrigerator wasn't really working properly. Overall I liked the hotel and thought the accommodations were very good. I would go back again.

It was very well kept. It could have used a swimming pool. Very clean and spacious. Food was over priced but what do you expect for Chicago, IL. The hotel could of used a game room or pool for families.

Location good for airport access. Finding Hotel as a driving customer difficult for those from outside Chicago land area. Room was decorated very nicely; in room coffee & refrigerator was helpful. Nice clean, well decorated, and comfortable place overall.

This hotel has the most comfortable beds you will find anywhere. There's really nothing to dislike. No pool or hot tub maybe? This hotel met or exceeded all of the standards you would expect from a Hyatt hotel. Not to mention the fact that I have never slept on a more comfortable bed. I might call them up and try to find out where I can get one like it.

Staff exude pure professionalism, I felt comfortable. Inaccessibility to public transportation or wait for shuttle to airport. The front desk rep that registered me, was excellent, alongside there were two others that were polite and courteous. Room was adequate, no pen or paper handy. Although nice touch with the home. Gym facility exceeded my expectations. Only down fall was the long wait for the shuttle service and no easy access to public transportation or option for shuttle service to train stop along the way to and from airport.

Price. No pool. The hotel room and lobby were pleasant enough, but we were sad that there was not a swimming pool in a 3-star rated hotel. We also would have liked to use a different credit card, but we were told by the hotel that we could not.
