The Hyatt Place Tempe Phoenix Airport is an exciting and innovative new select service hotel located approximately two miles from Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix Zoo, and Sun Devil Stadium. Within eight miles are Bank One Ball Park, America West Arena, and Phoenix Civic Plaza. Our Gallery is a warm and open area that features a self-registration kiosk, an intimate coffee and wine cafe, a TV den and an e-room with free access to a public computer and printer. The breakfast buffet was a good value. Room was in shabby condition - ripped wall, tattered blinds that didn't block the sun; toilet overflowed; water pressure non-existent. N/A

Clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast fare on offer was a bit anemic compared to other hotels. Nice hotel. I only stayed there to have a place to crash in Phoenix after a concert so I didn't have to drive back to Tucson.

Cleanliness, helpful, pleasant smelling in hallways. Just the tub plug wouldn't work to take a bath. Really relaxing nice stay, all help was offered to take care of any needs we had.

The breakfast was excellent. Asked for a 2 double beds got king, Also the starbucks is just coffee not an actual starbucks in lobby. The rooms were clean and the TV was nice and big.

I loved the comfortable bed! My boyfriend loved how big the TV was. I wish that the check out time was later. I really did love this hotel and do plan on coming back. The staff was so friendly. We had trouble with the digital TV. And every time we called down to the front desk they were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I was very impressed and will tell everyone I know about this hotel.

Nice 38 inch LCD flat panel TV. Elevators were worn. Excellent accommodations at a fantastic price. The breakfast far exceeded my expectations. The lobby and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again for almost any occasion.

Catchy name It is under the flight path. This was not disclosed. Awful. Do not stay here. It is under the flight path and you can hear planes in every room at all hours.

We checked in and went to our "king room" to find it was a handicap room. The room was okay, but the bathroom was horrible! There was a hospital style sink (no counter), a big drain in the center of the bathroom floor, a showerhead coming from the wall and a shower curtain...no tub and no shower stall. The bathroom was essentially a big locker-room style shower. Not what you would expect for 160 plus tax! At first, the manager insisted we requested a handicap room, then said it was online travel fault because they booked the room and we got what we asked for...a king size bed. They said they were booked and we were stuck with the room. We checked out and they refused to give us a refund even though we had only checked in ten minutes earlier. Management was completely uncooperative, unhelpful and unfriendly. In the end, we left and paid for a room at another hotel and are still fighting for a refund.

Management switched us to king bed handicapped room. Not good. I stayed at a Hyatt Place previously and had a good experience. They asked us to switch to a king bed from a double bed room. I agreed as my young daughter and I have shared beds in the past and it was obvious that they were over booked. However, what the manager did not tell us is that it was a handicap room and it differed considerably. We did not have a desk for the computer and any work that I needed to do plus the bathroom did not have a vanity and there wasn't any place for a toothbrush, etc. I was pretty irritated and felt that we had been downgraded.

Our room was spacious, beautiful and clean. For the cost it couldn't have been any nicer. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. We wanted to stay another night just to sleep in the wonderful beds and watch the big screen plasm TV. The staff was friendly and helpful. The airport was minutes away and easy to drive to. Great experience.

This is the perfect location for anyone attending the Insight Bowl, about halfway between the PHX airport and Sun Devil Stadium. We were extremely happy with the room layout, sectional sofa, king bed and large HDTV. The shuttle service was especially helpful, taking us anywhere within a 5 mile radius in a timely fashion. The continental breakfast was very nice. They also had a few menu items available for purchase, but what we had appeared to be pre-made, microwaved and wasn't very good. There are plenty of good restaurants within the shuttle area so it wasn't a big problem at all. Airport noise was not bad either.

My wife and I came for the Insight.com Bowl over the New Year. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff had a good knowledge of the area attractions and restaurants. There was a shuttle on call for transport to and for the bowl game which was very nice.
The decor in the rooms was very nice, modern, and comfortable. Close to the airport, ASU, and access to the major roads in the "Valley of the Sun" made it easy to get around the city.
We would defiantly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

A typical chain hotel right next to PHX airport - comfortable but a bit soul-less. The suite format meeans that there is plenty of space and the flat screen plasma TVs in the guest-rooms are a great bonus. At the time of my stay (Aug 2007) the hotel was going through a remodelling so most of the public rooms (lobby, restaurant etc.) were out of use. Once the remodel is complete the hotel should be a decent place to stay if you need to be out by the airport.

The updated well planned rooms. The beds were rock hard. This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are very modern yet clean and comfortable. The beds were a bit hard but still passable. The hotel staff is VERY young and inexperienced but polite. The continental breakfast was excellent and filling. Overall this was an excellent hotel for the money.

Very clean and room was spacious and comfortable. Weight room did not offer many options for exercise. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel overall. The only nuisance in the evening was the air traffic before we were going to sleep. Other than that the breakfast kitchen was unique and family friendly.

Free High Speed Internet access. Housekeeping. The free wireless high speed was great, as the hotel had several routers that were available to guests, great plus. The only negative was my arrival to the hotel after work and finding my room not cleaned till after 4pm on three of the four days I was there.

Convenience and friendliness of the staff. Without question, the best hotel experience I've had. Hotel was had every convenience available for the business travel and my expectations were exceeded in almost every regard.
