The Four Diamond Hyatt Regency Santa Clara recently completed a 12 million guest room renovation. The hotel is located in the heart of Silicon Valley and only minutes away from the San Jose Mineta International Airport. The hotel is directly across the street from Californias Great America Theme Park and also connected to the Santa Clara Convention Center. The staff was friendly and helpful in every instance. A better variety of TV channels would be good. We loved staying at this hotel in Santa Clara. After a long day in a business meeting it was great to get up to our room and relax before our next day's activities in San Jose. When we pulled back our sheets we noticed some kind of marker, (pen or mascara) on the top sheet. We called the front desk and immediately house keeping came up and changed the entire bed. Wonderful service. We were impressed!

We had a wonderful dining experience at the hotel lobby bar. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions and information about area attractions. The servers at the hotel lobby lounge were outstanding. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and very well supplied i.e. towels, extra pillows and toiletries.

The cleanliness of the room was superior. I was happy with the Starbucks in the lobby. The hallways looked shabby and I was expecting my room to look the same, however, the room was extremely nice. The hotel was great, and it was close to the highway. It is approximately 30 miles from Oakland airport and easy to find. The room was clean and very modern. Rooms have plasma screen TVs. The bathrooms are slightly small, but very aesthetically appealing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing I would change about it is its hallways. They look a little shabby and colorless, and at first were scared that the room would look the same. To my surprise the room was much, much superior to the hotel hallways so if you go to this hotel don't let the hallways fool you.

This hotel has excellent staff and the upkeep keeps it fabulous. There isn't something I have found, yet, that I don't like. With spacious rooms, mostly ones with views, beds that are like sleeping on clouds, and the friendliest staff I have ever met at a hotel, this hotel has all the makings for a 5 star hotel. Dining in the hotel is a treat in itself. The food is great and, although a little pricey for my taste, well worth the cost if you are a food lover like I am. Located close to the 101 and the 880 you have many options for getting to a shopping center from the freeway, or you can just drive down about 10 min and have all the selection that you really need.

Cleanliness and updated bathroom. Location was not as convenient. This is an excellent hotel for the single business traveler. The rooms are updated with workspace and comfort. The rooms are not as well suited for couples/families with children, because there is limited closet and drawer space.

It was walking distance to Great America Theme Park. The color of the hallways were painted a drab blue. We had a nice stay. The pool was nice and also heated for the kids.

Upscale lobby, rooms clean. I was told different things, by each employee I asked, all conflicting answers. Frustrating! Nice. Overpriced meals. After talking to 4 different people on two different days, I finally learned that the continental breakfast is not complimentary as they suggest it is.

Quality room and helpful staff. Lousy parking arrangement. What you expect from a 4-Star hotel in terms of room and facilities. Aside for inconvenience of sometimes having trouble finding a decent parking place, the only downside is hotel is frequently crowded with conventions which means facilities/restaurants are extra busy.

Always beautiful and people were very helpful and nice. Room was nice, not as clean as before. We have stayed there before and the staff was very friendly! Pool was beautiful, only complaint was that the room was a little dirty.

The hotel was conveniently located, had very nice room decor and a comfortable bed. I can't really think of anything I didn't like. Very nicely decorated rooms, comfortable bed and friendly staff. I would stay again.

The rooms were clean, the location was convenient & felt safe. The decor. Also the business center didn't work. It's a very nice adequate hotel. I'm used to stay in hotels that are more luxurious. The decor reminded me of something you would see in a 1950's mobile home. Hideous blue hallways and cheap looking rugs. On the up side my room was a nice size, featured a plasma TV, the desk was great for business - there was plenty of room for me to setup my laptop and then spread out all of my papers. I was preparing a business presentation and needed the business center. I went to use it and it didn't work. One of the hotel employees who was walking down the hall said it hadn't worked at all that week (which wasn't disclosed to me when I mentioned my needs as I checked in). I was frustrated and upset since I had wasted my valuable time trying to get it to work and was running out of time. As I was hurrying to the front desk an employee who sensed my stress came towards me and immediately unlocked "The Regency" room for me. I had computers and printers at my disposal. Didn't have to take the time to log in or swipe a credit card. There was no charge. I appreciate the fact that the situation was rectified in a expedient manner. I think this hotel would be great for business travelers and families who want to go to Great America. If you need a clean basic hotel, then this is it.

Good sushi Room was not prepared I was disappointed with my stay. The first night, I had no chair in my room despite calling down and asking for one to be delivered. The ice machine wasn't working and the hotel was full of a convention that made riding the elevators a 20 minute ordeal each time you wanted to get to your room. I expected more from a Hyatt.

The overall room décor and helpful staff. The TV was in an awkward position on the wall from the bed making it uncomfortable for viewing. I enjoyed my stay.

Very quiet and very clean & comfortable. We were given our choice of a king or 2 doubles. Very nice rooms that was quiet! They had a computer (free) with easy access for on-line check-in. Convenient location for airport access.

The staff and the food were great. There was some peeling wallpaper around the window that didn't fit with the overall excellent experience. I was amazed at the value of this hotel. The hotel and restaurant staff went the extra mile, like offering me coffee to go after breakfast in the dining room. My college aged daughters and I really had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it and stay again.

The updated basin in the bathroom. The bathroom doors were different in a nice way. Very nice. The blue paint in the hallways. The room was very nice, updated, and relaxing. A modern Asian feel.

The robe that was provided. Wireless internet access was not included and it was difficult to get on. The Hyatt in Santa Clara is a beautiful 5 star hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated with many amenities and conveniences like; in room robe, hair dryer, coffee maker, mini fridge, computer workstation, USA Today outside your door in the morning and more. The staff is very cordial and professional. Whether your a busy professional on business or a vacationer used to luxury, the Hyatt in Santa Clara is an excellent choice.

The location was perfect for my meetings. The layout was terrible, walkways were illogical. The rooms and staff at this hotel were good. I would recommend it to anyone. However, it appears that a first year architecture student layed out the facility. Long narrow corridors wound aimlessly from the elevator to the room. It was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel from the garage, and if you parked in the surface lot you either had to cut through the landscaping or walk 200 yards out of your way.
