Ideon is close to the Old Town of Rethymno, on a very popular stretch of seafront near the port area, close to trendy restaurants and cafeterias. The main restaurant serves breakfast and also a variety of local and Mediterranean meal options served with a fantastic selection of wine and spirits. A glass panels open to the pool area surrounded by greenery. The hotel is a 5 storey very nicely coloured in ochre and burnt sienna. There is an old Venetian mansion style annex across the pool where the suites are located, renovated to a very high standard. The lobby is quite large and combines the reception and lounge area with a few steps leading up to the restaurant, bar and further to the pool.
