Having booked a luxury room at â‚¬250 per night our expectations were very high and I have to say we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely helpful (yet discreet) and freindly. The room was not massive but it was well proportioned and spacious. The furniture and fixtures were of a high standard and had some nice little touches such as low level night lighting. The Plasma TV had full Sky with lots of english channels (a first for Italian hotels) The bathroom was a good size but no Jacuzzi as advertised. There was a terrace which was a bonus although it was fully enclosed and had no view. The breakfast (served on our terrace without any additional charge) was absolutely fantastic. One of the reasons we choose this hotel was it's location, it's absolutey perfect for a weekend stay as all the key sights and attractions are within a short stroll away so you're not spending to much time on public transport. If you are considering staying here you will not be disappointed but it's worth pointing out that it's more personal than a hotel and as such should be considered more as a 'house with serviced rooms' as the name suggests. One only negative part of our stay was the room door opened into the breakfast area and it was a bit on the noisy side in a morning. Oh and they didn't have an iron.
