We enjoyed the pool and the beds were comfy. Our keys didn't work on the second day and I and my children had to stand outside our room (wet from swimming) for 30 min waiting for security. Overall the hotel was very nice. It was a great location. For a four star hotel it did lack in some areas, my husband called for his car (they tell you to call 15 in advance) and ended up waiting almost an hour, making him late for a work function. But the hotel was nice, just expected a touch more from a four star hotel, but I'm sure we'd stay there again for the right price.

Lovely accommodations. Tiny, outdated bathroom. Glamorous lobby, the rooms could use an updating, but overall, a delightful stay in DC!

Excellent location, convenient to everything in DC and concierge staff is outstanding! We were very pleased with the price we got via Priceline. Our friends were very impressed with the hotel and a good time was had by all. The location is outstanding and conveniently located near all the major DC attractions. The staff, particularly the concierge, are all very pleasant and helpful.

Beds, bathroom. Views, elevators. Somewhat inconvenient to get to Metro system (although I didn't really use it much).

Fresh fruit and refreshments available. Exiting the hotel through the valet entrance. Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, fitness room and sauna. It's a good place for travelers who are looking for a great hotel convenient to the Mall. Short walk to the White House and Metro stop. Overall it was a great hotel and we would definitely return.

Very friendly people and great location. Uncomfortable beds. I love to get a good night sleep when away from my 2 kids who sleep in my bed for some reason, the beds and pillows were not as comfortable as other hotels. Anyhow. Sleep fuels my engine and I didn't get a great deal of it, so that made the trip a bit longer than it should have been.

Meet the price. Poor service, poor response. Wait for an hour to receive robe which was supposed to be prepared. Called several times to get it. Amazingly poor service.

The lobby is beautiful, has high end restaurants and a star bucks. Gift shop very well stocked. Concierge, though helpful, was not at all warm and friendly the way cleaning staff was. Excellent choice for sightseeing or business in Washington D.C. two blocks from the White House and 4 blocks from the Washington Mall. The rooms are very clean and modern, and most staff are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel has everything and more. The staff are more than nice(the check in guy gave me an FBI hat). The room was part of a package my dad won, so it was free. The pool was clean and big, and the concierge lounge was fantastic! It's near everything, and there's no better hotel in the city!

Great location, walking distance to White House and Washington Monument, bit more of a walk if you are fit and healthy to Lincoln Memorial and a long way from Arlington Cemetry. Train system very easy to use especially for new comers. Museum's are really not that far either kids knew their way around without a map. Staff were friendly and the lifts were a breeze to use much easier then standard lifts. Family wise we didn't find anywhere to eat all to up market for us, even the list of recommended restaurants was a bit tooooooooo pricy. The room was too small for a family of five and would definitely not recommend it, when you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom the light illuminates the whole bedroom as their is one switch for the outside of the bathroom and the toilet!

I really liked the hotel. It is located on Pennslyvania avenue and is close to the metro station and a lot of restaurants. You can see the Captiol building really well from the front of the hotel. The rooms are small but they have flat screen tvs in them. They also have a heated pool and spa which is really nice to go in after a long day. The hotel has a fitness room with a tv on some machines. They also have a restaurant which has a buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast is wonderful. They have an omelette bar, waffle bar, hot breakfast bar, and a fruit bar. It is 50.00 dollars but if you book the room on a on line website you get the buffet breakfast for free. The hotel also has wireless internet for a fee of 9.95. I would recommend you stay at this hotel.

The front desk staff was very helpful and the room was lovely. There was construction being done and there are no nearby coffee shops, drug stores, etc. The hotel was well located for touring in DC. The room was well-appointed, and the bathroom was well supplied. The morning breakfast buffet was a good deal for kids 12 and under (5$/child) The front desk was professional and responsive. The pool was a bit small, and overly chlorinated.

Great location, very nice staff; a great stay. Valet parking was expensive (30.00) per day. We enjoyed the hotel from the moment we saw it, and even before.

The HD TV and audio system in the room were incredible. The only parking available is valet parking which is expensive. This hotel is a gorgeous hotel in a great location within walking distance of the white house and the Smithsonian Mall.

Very clean. The room was all I asked for. Their knowledge about the surrounding geography was a bit thin. Pretty simple. It's a nice place to stay. A classic look with the modern amenities you'd hope for in a 4-star hotel.

The bed was very comfortable. The furniture and carpet colors in the lobby were very unattractive. I am still disappointed that I asked for a 4 star hotel and get this place instead.

We usually stay at this hotel when we visit Washington and will stay there again. On this visit there were dozens of ants in the bathroom. The hotel engineering staff eradicated them fairly quickly after they were called.

Having to pay for hi-speed internet and no free internet in lobby. Great hotel with a terrific location for Washington. Room was smallish, but well put together and very clean. Not luxurious, but very nice.

The staff. Renovation. The hotel was very nice- but when I offer a price on a 4-star hotel, I do not find one undergoing renovation to be acceptable!

Very clean, within walking distance to white house, very friendly. In the middle of renovation. I cannot say enough about this hotel. We will definitely be staying here again. They had a new elevator system that you enter you floor number on the outside of the elevator which made the ride so much faster. Rooms very clean, and we had an excellent view of the Washington monument, and the Lincoln Memorial. The bed was also very comfortable, and our room had a flat screen television with several outlets for internet as well. Our daughter needed a refrigerator to keep her medicine cold and they were so helpful in bringing a small one up.

I liked opening up the room door and finding the same sheets, bedcoverings and pillows that I have at home. A great sleeping environment is important. The price for parking at the hotel was expensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The feeling of the hotel and rooms was comfortable and inviting. I would sincerely recommend this hotel to people I know.
