The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the central train station, which is a major plus as it provides easy access to all of Munich. Alternatively, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to Marienplatz and many other popular sights. The rooms themselves are well-appointed in a cozy, antique-ish sort of way. They are well-maintained and clean. The neighborhood around the train station is not particularly charming with a bevy of youth hostels and a few strip clubs although the location seems perfectly safe and busy at all times of day and night. A grocery store sits next door as do several internet cafes and restaurants.

We were there a short day before catching the early morning train to the airport for our return to the states. The hotel is about two blocks from the Central Station and an easy walk with luggage. The rooms were very quiet, good bed, and clean with nice furniture and very nice bath. The room was one of the smallest we stayed in on our trip but was very comfortable. We weren't relly there long enough to check out the staff. Breakfast was 15 Euros, pricy but not as bad as others we experienced on the trip. Internet was also high. This was a problem in Vienna and in Munich. Overall the hotel was good for those needing to be close to the rail but there are others in Munich we like better.

The staff was very nice and quite helpful. Some of the employee's spoke and understood english quite well...others pretended to understand and not provide information. The room was very clean, and sizable. Internet access was expensive 12E per day, but plenty of internet cafe's close. Try to get a room, not on the street, for the train is somewhat loud when it passes.

We stayed at the Kings Hotel first class 3 nights and then returned to it a week later. It is convenient (easy walk) from the train station, very clean, nicely decorated and reasonable especially on the weekend. Plus it has wireless in the rooms!!

Hotel is within walking distance to Marienplatz and also 2 blocks from Subway. Room was clean and comfortable, however it was a bit smaller than expected, but great for just the two of us. There was no bathtube, but shower had great pressure and temperature and bath was modern. Hotel was quiet and hotel staff were great. We didn't spend much time at the hotel but cheap and in a great location.

A short walk to the central station and local street cars. The staff are ?ber friendly and very helpful. For the price, this place is awesome!
