The room was tatty and not very clean. The curtains were falling of the rail. The toilet roll holder in the bathroom was broken. There was only one small bar of soap for the whole 3 day stay. There was no plug for the sink or bath. TV and kettle did not work. You were supplied with cheap plastic cups which were so thin they were pratically useless. Furnishings were broken or damaged. Capets on stairs were in places a trip hazzard. No clear fire escape instructions. No telephone. I would NEVER stay there again!

The hotel is at a convenient location which is about five minutes walk from Queensway tube station and a short walking distance to Hyde Park. I was a bit surprised that the room didn't have any tea making facilities as this would have made the room more welcoming and allowed myself moment to relax and unwind after my journey too the hotel. The hotel is in pretty good condition only a few steps felt uneven to walk on and my shower was a bit cold but, I mentioned this to the receptionist so, this problem should be rectified by the hotel soon. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is situated on a side street so, it was nice and quite and allowed me to get a good nights sleep.

I was disapointed with this establishment, when I arrivesd they first asked if I could pay in cash £100 for two nights stay, and then reluctantly accepted my credit card. The fire door on the landing outside my room was proped open when I went to my room and again the next day. the room was not very inviting andthe TV was broken. I don't expect a great deal from budget hotels in london but this was one of the worst I have stayed in.

Bearable but not the bestConfirmed next to an Indian restaurant so if you are bothered by a consistent curry smell not recommended. I booked a double and was put in a 3rd floor family room so I had a lot of space. They only excepted cash - which I anticipated having read previous reviews. For what I paid I have stayed in better budget hotels for less money in London. The TV in the room had poor reception and every few minutes lost signal all together (this got iritating). Shower in room worked poorly spraying water in all directions and manky shower curtain did little to contain. I didn't have breakfast so I couldn't comment on food. Location is central and near 2 tube lines so good for access.

this hotel was central to where we wanted to go and very close to 3 tube stations, 2 different lines, however, it was not what we expected. The hotel was very `scruffy`, and not very welcoming at all. The rooms were musty smelling but at least the sheets were clean although there were holes in a couple of them. As we did not like the hotel on a whole we chose not to have our breakfast there even though it was paid for.I would not stay here again. Very dissapointed.
