It was efficiently managed, the desk clerk did a good job. Parking should have been free. The tolls to NYC + parking increased the cost.

Very close and convenient to LGA. Staff was slow, impersonal, and harried. Room was musty smelling, Circular tower hotel where curtains do not close all the way, giant spotlights wash the facade of the building at night but the curtains cannot keep out the light-carpets dirty in room, cafe is a microwave type of food serving, if its anything more than that I'm shocked at the poor quality of the food if full service kitchen. As a 'distressed airline passenger' who was bumped the only good thing about this hotel was proximity to LGA and free shuttle to airport.

The overall experience at the LaGuardia Airport hotel was satisfying for our needs. However, since our room was located in the tower, we were advised to use the back entrance which was more convenient. While the front lobby is well appointed and beautifully decorated for the holidays, the back entrance is not well kept, is dirty and very scary. I would recommend always using the front lobby even though the walk to the elevator will be longer. The room was comfortable, however we were surprised to learn there was no refrigerator (that is extra) and no microwave. Pretty disappointing. Luckily a pretty good diner was close. If the hotel would provide these amenities, plus not charge for parking everyday.

A very depressing experience and I feel that they need a new manager to smarted things up. Dinner was slow, table cloths stained , service incredibly slow and water in short supply apparently. Features in the bathroom leave a lot to be desired. $* a day parking to boot.

The proximity of the hotel to LaGuardia can't be beat. The room was also very nice, comfortable, and worth the price. The restaurant prices are a little high, but the quantity of food served is enough for at least two people!

Staff are nice and rooms are clean, though this place is likely not the fanciest hotel you'll ever set foot in. At Laguardia Airport, it's pretty convenient to get into Manhattan from there as well. If value is your priority, it seems to be a good choice.

Do not stay in this hotel if you are wanting to visit Manhattan. Everyone says it is easy to take the shuttle to Laguardia and take a bus into the city, but what they don't tell you is that it will take over 2 hours to get there! While the hotel was fine, I spent way too much time commuting to be able to see anything in New York.

Good price for New York not too far from the city. It was unattractive and dark. Upon check in the front desk clerk talked on the phone the entire time she was checking us in. It seems as if she was on a personal call. There was a dirty tray in the hallway the day we checked in, it was still there the day we checked out. Which was a real eyesore since it was the first room you see when you get off of the elevator.

This hotel's location is fabulous. A $5.00 cab ride including tip from Laguardia it took only moments to get there. The staff was amazing so my husband and I though we were going to have a great room at a great price. The lobby is very fooling...we had one light bulb in the entire room! Out of 3 free standing lamps, only one had a bulb. The room was not very clean and is in need of desperate updating. However, at 1am and we were only there to sleep, $127 was worth the downfalls. This hotel is not quiet, so if you are a light sleeper, DO NOT STAY HERE. It's basically on the runway. The beds were comfy, but we had to strip the beds because I felt scared to use their linens. I would only reccomend this hotel for the value traveler that can handle not having first class amenities. My husband and I are young and can kinda "roll with the punches." Also keep in mind that they claim a "short cab ride from Manhattan" that does not mean inexpensive by any means! You are looking at around $65 or under to Midtown/Times Square. My husband and I took a cab from there to 78th and Rosevelt where the subway meets up...$4.00 for both of us to take the subway to Rockefeller Center (47th-50th). Cab from Laguardia to subway station ran $12.00 including tip.

Staff helpful for people unfamiliar with the area. Beware using hotel limo service - undisclosed charge. This hotel's name says it all - it's a place to stay that is very convenient to La Guardia airport, but poorly placed for most other purposes. Staff was very helpful to out-of-towners seeking to navigate NYC's mass transit, and provided excellent service to and from the airport. Housekeeping staff was a little slow but competent and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, but not fully equipped. Only black mark: We called for a cab, and instead got a hotel limo with undisclosed and inappropriately high charges.

Friendly staff, the room was nice and clean. Overall the experience was ok. I was expecting a microwave and a small fridge and continental breakfast but I guess I needed to go up a star or 2. Also the bed was hard as a board I did not get a good nights rest either night. Other than that the hotel was adequate friendly staff, very clean. And the restaurant/bar was very nice as well.

Hotel was in a convenient location. Hotel needs an outside paint job; paint is peeling off building in back. Room was comfortable and spacious. They charge 15 dollars to park at hotel. Bathroom had mold around caulk. Hotel had very noisy heating and air unit meant to drown out airplane noise.

Convenient location to LaGuardia Airport. It's not the Ritz or the Four Seasons, but if you are looking to stay at a Hotel near LaGuardia Airport because you have to catch an early morning flight, the Wyndham is an affordable option that I would recommend.

Very close to major highway. Not what I expected at all. I stayed at this hotel with my sister and the room was less than stellar. Room was very small; walls were grimy and kept in good condition. The toilet ended up clogging on us in the early morning and we had requested additional pillows and it never showed up. This hotel did not meet my expectations. Will not stay there again.

Close to LGA but no airplane noise, very close to Shear Stadium. Don't use the mapping directions on their website to get there! We drove to the hotel - $15/night parking! The staff were super friendly and the room was nice. My one recommendation is to use Map-Quest or a real map to get there - directions we printed using the map program on their website got us within 10 blocks, but not there! We walked back to the hotel from Shea Stadium after the Mets game (using our map) - beautiful area!

Price. I was driven there by a friend, so I didn't have to worry about the shuttle on the way over. It's older though and even though I guess it was clean, it's definitely seen a lot of visitors in its day. I was in a pretty depressing room - ground floor facing the driveway - but I heard no noise.

Helpfulness of the front desk people. Car service availability during times when the airport shuttle is not yet available. Room we stayed need some update. My husband & I stayed overnight in this hotel for our early flight out of LaGuardia. Overall, our experience was ok. The front desk and customer service is very good. However, we do think that the rooms need updates. They also need to address the noise level. Its proximity to both the airport and Grand Central Parkway does not add up to a quiet and relaxing sleep. We were constantly awakened by either the sound of cars or planes. If you are looking for a place to stay when traveling out of LGA, you can consider this hotel as long as you bring along some noise canceling earphones.

This hotel needs some serious help! It needs friendlier staff, Better cafe hours, cleaner rooms, trustworthy cleaning staff - they stole from me!!!!, more cleaning action going on, and bigger more updated rooms. I only booked here becuse it was where the rest of the wedding party was staying...DON'T STAY HERE...Just pay the extra $25 a night and stay at the MARRIOTT up the road. Oh and last but not least I left my jacket on the bed and went to check out just as the cleaning lady arrived. I'm sure the cleaning lady took it and never turned it in to lost and found. I called as soon as I was few blocks away and they claim to never have seen the jacket. It wasn't the jacket...it was the principle!!!!

Nothing. The staff was unorganized, unfriendly and not at all helpful, and the room smelled of mildew and old cheese. My reservation was misplaced by one of their incompetent workers, and I had to pay for 1 extra night even though I told them that I had my reservation on email. So when I printed my confirmation, they had to refund me for the 2 nights that were not even necessary to charge in the first place would they have listened to me. I will not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Terrible service. A shame to all Wyndham hotels.

Clean rooms, nice staff. Our room was very close to a very busy and loud high highway. Near La Guardia and has easy access to Triboro Bridge into Manhattan The airport noise was nothing compared to the highway noise, however. Ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. Room service was fast and efficient. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

It was affordable. The exterior of the building needs painting/updating. This hotel was excellent for traveler’s that want to experience true city living by taking buses & subways. The hotel's airport shuttle was reliable all the time. The front desk was very helpful and dedicated to her customers. Couldn't say that others (night staff), weren't that quite as kind or friendly. Room was good but our bathtub was not clean when we checked in and area surfaces in the room were dusty. But for our needs, to sleep and shower only, it was great.

It started with a 45 minute wait for the shuttle bus to pick us up at the airport. When the driver finally came to pick us up it took no more than five minutes to get to the hotel. Check-in was fast and pleasant, the staff crew are very professional and tentative. My first initial reaction when I opened my room door was "wow, this loo67ks smaller than the online pictures". As I entered the room I immediately noticed the base board on the wall was pealing off. The comfort level of the room wasn't bad. There were a few minor neglected interior decoration issues that need tending to. But other than that it was cool, I would recommend this place to a friend.

Very close to airport, free airport shuttle. Noisy, not clean, old, basic rooms, hurried staff. Basically, the only thing this hotel has to offer is its proximity to LaGuardia Airport. It is one of the poorer Wyndham Hotels that I've stayed in. The rooms are basic, the hotel is old and slightly run-down, and there is both a freeway & an airport next to the hotel which generate continuous noise that has no problem reaching your room. Ear plugs recommended. The staff are competent, but seemed overworked and tired, contributing to a mediocre hotel experience.
