“La Mucchia - Casa Vacanza & Art Gallery” is located in the region of Tuscany, an area of great historical and artistic interest. The vacation house is situated at the foot of Cortona, an ancient Etruscan town, founded by the residence of Umbria about 3,000 years ago, even before Rome was established. The house is currently divided into eight suites. It is surrounded by 7,000 sq. meters (roughly two acres) of land used for lawn, garden and other various services. We're a couple with 2 young kids. La Mucchia was perfect for our needs! We wanted to have a choice of day trips, the option to stay in (which we were tempted to use more than once...), and the vicinity to a large town. Cortona was a great home base for these trips, the hotel itself was fabulous - with a fantastic pool and garden and the room was something we are going to miss dearly... I highly recommend the place for everyone who considers visiting Tuscany, or Umbria.
