Close to airport. Great shuttle service. No good restaurants nearby. For the price, it is a 10 minute shuttle ride to the airport. The shuttle was on time every time. Room was clean, breakfast was nice.

Clean. Efficient and responsive staff. It was fine as a short-stay convenience hotel, especially for the solo business or leisure traveler. This place is a breath of fresh air in short-stay convenience hotels since all the familiar names have dropped so sharply in quality. I hope La Quinta is able to keep it up!

Surprisingly clean and comfortable. It's worth the money and the location is very good if you are on a rush to the airport. Offer good breakfasts. There are room to improve for service at the front desk - cold and unfriendly.

Location was great and the king-size bed was extremely comfortable. The room did not have an alarm clock. For the price, this hotel exceeded expectations. Free breakfast in the morning and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on made my stay great. My only complaint is that the troom didn't have an alarm clock.

I chose this hotel for it's shuttle to the Miami port...I was surprised at how helpfull the staff was & the hotel was VERY clean!

This hotel was clean and comfortable and offered a great breakfast AND free shuttle service to the port for our family cruise. We had all of our married kids and our 8 grandchildren for a total of 16 and easily fit in the 20 passenger bus from the airport and again to the cruise ship. We reserved the shuttle through the manager ahead of time and it was right on time. Others have complained about smoky rooms but we did not find that. We had 4 rooms and all were fine. The manager, *, was very helpful. The price was fair and we were completely satisfied.

I booked 4 months in advanced for 2 "non-smoking" rooms through Travel agency. The location and price were what I was attracted as it is close to the airport and ship terminal for a cruise we were taking. Two people in my party were highly allergic to smoke and guess what rooms were given - 4th floor ash tray locations. Reeked of smoke would be a kind description for them. Asked the front desk if I could change - no chance this is what Travel agency ordered and this is what you get - sorry. I got the impression that hotel management does not like when rooms are ordered through Travel agency management said don't blame us for you misery - blame Travel agency as this is what was ordered. Rooms used digital thermostats to control the air-conditioning units - both rooms did not function. Also, both rooms were either missing lightbulbs or had light fixtures burned out. Will never stay again and would advise you not to either!

Older hotel. Dirty in the corners and around the edges. Needs significan remodeling and cleaning. Shuttle not 24 hours (shuttle driver very nice, but very busy/stressed). Embassy Suites next door. Hallways are filled with thick cigarette smoke! Horrible! (Seems to be airflow direct from smoking rooms.) Will not stay here again.

Located close to the airport. Poor service, and general air of uncleanliness. Stayed here after a fabulous week-long cruise - talk about system shock! We arrived a few hours before check-in; there was only one person working the entire front end, although she was trying her best. At least she gave us a pool key and let us store our luggage in a staff area. The pool was fine. Our room smelled bad - my wife had to cover it up with essential oils. The picture on the TV was green and blurry, although we did have a lot of cable channels. The continental breakfast was mediocre and was out of hot water for tea. Finally, the advertise free shuttle service to the airport never happened. There were three La Quinta vans outside but none of them went to the airport (all going to the Port of Miami) so we were eventually stuffed into a taxi. The hotel wouldn't give the driver enough to make the trip, so I had to pay for the taxi out of pocket because we didn't have time to sort it out! We asked the day before about scheduling the shuttle and they told us they ran every 30 minutes.

Arrived pretty late after a long road trip from Orlando. Needed to take the plane first thing in the morning. The people at the front desk were really nice and helped us to make this short stay as pleasent as possible. The room was clean and to our satisfaction. Very close to the airport. Good deal for your money.

La Quinta Inn East, Nice room .Not many places to eat around.Only one Bennigan it got old quick.So much road construction around was a big problem.Other than that it was fine.
