We shopped and did a litle sightseeing. We spent most of the time in the room watching sports. The T.V. was so far from bed and was so small, it was has to read info.

Great value for the money. Hotel facility was neat and clean. Would upgrade to the lakeside view rooms next time. Great view from the lake view cabins. Boat docking facilities available.

On lake with friendly staff. Liked ping pong table for kids and BBQ area/boat dock on lake. This is a Non smoking hotel which is good for me and my friends. Rooms were clean.

My girlfriend and I booked this lodge for four nights after looking at it on their website. After one night, we canceled and found another motel.
The room was not clean, and the bathroom was awful. The toilet bowl had a ring inside at least 2 years old. The carpets were loose and posed a walking hazard. The screen door fell off every time we opened it. The curtains were not attached to the overhead rods, and had giant gaps for us to look out, and others to look in. There were nails and cigerette butts on the covered balconey. The remote did not work, it was a different model than the tv. And, the unit below ours had a drunk group that never talked, they yelled.
The staff agreed to refund our remaining three days and were helpful in checking out.
There are much nicer places to stay at Big Bear, with much better prices. Try them.

We had a prepaid reservation however, there was no room available on arrival. After trying to check in twice, the hotel attempted to put us in the managers unit, which did not have a proper or working lock and the ceiling light was dangling precariously over the bed. The hotel claimed there was nothing else available and refused to refund our money. We will probably make a complaint with the BBB and CA lodging/hotel board.

Four seasons! I don't think so. I went during the week in May. There was nothing going on! The city was dead. I think we were the only ones staying at this hotel and were still not allowed to check in after our long drive until 3pm. The room smelled so bad like wet dog. conforters had a dog smell to them. the bathtub was so gross with black dirt. The room was not cleaned properly. The office closed like at 6pm and I noticed there was no phone in the room. what if there was an emergency? who and where was i supposed to call? I got a lake front view and the lake smelled so bad, like sewer! Not a great experience at all.
