Stuck in the pastIdeal location and good front desk service I choose this hotel to celebrate my husbands birthday and we had been upgraded to a deluxe room. This gave us extra space but in a soul less dated room . Old fashioned TV in a cabinet and no tea and coffe making facilities. No breakfast included in the price of the room but charged separately at £28 each.It seems everything comes at a price. It is redolent of a hotel stuck in the 1950's. If you want to pay this much then choose a boutique type hotel that will be individual and include some surprising extras.

Well, if it is 5* plus accomodation you are looking for then this is the hotel. I booked 24 hours prior to a 2 night weekend break and the deal for one of the top rooms was excellent. If you like to pamper either yourself or your partner this is the place to stay.

"I have stayed at the Landmark many times. It is a first class hotel. The staff are most helpful and cooperative. The food is excellent. The only complaint is that I think there should be a cd player in the room. Otherwise, no complaints. Close to railway and tube stations. Great area."

Traditional hotel with very helpful staff.Rooms very clean and spacious with lovely compfy beds!.Restaurant looked a bit over the top...not sure about those Palm Trees!. Visited the spa which is nice if not a bit small.Changing rooms very oddly laid out making it very difficult to access lockers etc if there are a few people there at once.Facilities are good however, there are not enough beds for relaxing by the pool.Lunch at the Spa was nice but we had to wait over an hour to get it which meant eating very close to treatment times.Real big downside to the spa was that even though I booked 4 rooms at the hotel they still made me pay £10 to use the pool etc as I had not booked a treatment which made me feel a bit ripped off.Overall a very nice stay just a shame that they make certain extras so expensive. If you want a cuppa first thing you'll have to order from room service and pay £5! After paying so much for a room this was quite annoying.

We had a wonderful stay at The Landmark Hotel from the minute we arrived at the door. We were traveling with my infant son, and was nervous that we would not have everything that we needed. But the hotel took care of all of our needs from the crib (with bedding), the concierge made dinner arrangements for a family friendly restaurant, and the doorman carried the stroller up and down steps everytime he saw us. The room was big and beautiful. We did not try any of the food services because meals were pricey. But the service was great!

For anyone looking for their first-time stay in London, the Landmark is amazing. The staff are extremely courteous and the area is beautiful. Even though they offer internet access, they are many cheaper internet cafes a short walk away. Plus you're next to the Marlyebone and Baker Street tube stations so the rest of the city is very accessible.

The food was extremely pricey (though their in-room breakfast was worth it), but there are several restaurants in the neighbourhood. The Sherlock Holmes museum and Madame Tussaud's are nearby and tour buses pass by frequently.

The rooms are very clean and quiet. My room overlooked their Winter Garden restaurant, so a lot of natural light comes in. One night, a pianist played and the music could be just barely heard through my window; it was very romantic. This would make a great hotel for couples, and that's my only complaint: that I was travelling alone!

The service was incredible, so be sure you know how to tip room service and doormen accordingly. They'll really go out of their way for you.

Hotel is beautiful but the amenities are lacking to say the least. The 1st room we were placed in was immaculate but the noise was so loud from the hallway that we had to move rooms the next night. On top of that the hair dryer blew a fuse in our room so we had no lights for 45 minutes while waiting for an electrician to repair it. Sat in the dark until 9 pm and missed our dinner reservations. Breakfast in the hotel gave me food poisoning which ruined the following day.

Bank Holiday Weekendwe recently had 2 rooms over the Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel was full and on check in they didn't have the type of room we booked - 2 doubles for 2 adults and 2 children, and it took 20 minutes for them to find one. We also had another room booked which was no smoking but absolutely stank of stale tobacco. They were ok at sorting this out but I had to push for what we wanted. Rooms don't have tea making facilities which is a disappointment and the main downside is that the Cellar bar is closed at the weekend ( Sat & Sun)and you have to eat in the more expensive Winter Garden.

luxury weekend in Londonwe decided to treat ourselves to a luxury hotel and weekend in London. This is a gorgeous hotel but not worth the price. Disappointed that we couldnt even make a cup of tea in our room and we couldn't afford the £30 per head afternoon tea.

Another stay here, always very pleased. Only annoyance was The Cellar Bar was closed, so no where to take the kids for a snack/drink, told by reception to use the Mirror Bar only to be told that kids were not allowed! Breakfast is outrageous price, so skipped it, £30 a head is ridiculous, but that's 5 star London I suppose! That aside a lovely hotel.

A grande dame of London hotels and handy for Oxford Street as wellas Marylebone. Pleasant rooms tho most likely you will be in the new annexe at the back..so quite a walk and pretty much anywhere type de luxe room on landing. Nice spa and best London hotel breakfast I have had...do NOT be tempted to ask non-residents to join you for breakfast..their share would need a mortgage. If cost is no concern, tuck in all round.
