The Langland hotel is situated in central London close to the theatreland and the British Museum. Transportation to all airports and railway stations are accessible. Tottenham court Road, Euston Square, Russell Square and Kings cross and Euston Stations are all few minutes walking distance. The Famous British Museum and oxford Street shopping centres are just a few minute's walk away. Breakfast is traditional English breakfast and a nice lounge to relax after a long day.

Room basic but OK - shared toilet poor, seat fell off - probably been like that for some time - bit more thought on this and things like sink plugs (almost no extra cost, just thought!) would turn this into a reasonable place to return to

Arrived at 2pm an hour after check in and walked into a room that wasn't even prepared.Beds were still not changed and rubbish was everywhere.Had no apology and then they had the nerve to throw us out (after we had paid)whilst the cleaner had to come back to work to finish her duties!!! We ended up stripping four beds as it was wasting our time and we had someone with us whos birthday it was and first time in London,they were not impressed.As i said no apology/money off or extra hour in bed offered,terrible!

The location of this Hotel is superb - minutes walk from Tottenham Ct Rd & Oxford street, only 10-15mins walk to Covent Garden, soho etc and very close to the tube for further afield. The Hotel is not the most up to date places I've stayed, but the room was clean, as was the bathroom and the staff were very helpful and friendly and for £65 for the night B&B it was superb value. We didn't try the breakfast that was included as we had to leave early. The only downside was the room was far to hot - heating was not adjustable and windows weren't easy to open as couldn't leave on a latch.

Sink in room had no plug. When I requested one , despite accessing several other rooms no plug could be found for me. Not very satisfactory.

Nice place to stay a 10 minute walk from oxford street.The room was clkean and tidy , however was very cramped and we had a three person room even though there was only two of us. the room became very stuffy and it was hard to try and get the air flowwing through but as we were only there for one night it was a hige deal , The beds were really comfy had a perfect night sleeep and brekfast in mornin was presented well and was perfect.The hotle is in a central loacation which was perfect as we were there on business and had a meeetig to attend at half 8 in morning on oxford street, were were able to walk to our meeting from the hotel.

one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed ina messy room with a leak just above the door frame that should have fallen down weeks ago(room 21) crap food, very hot room and the cooling fans look like they had not been cleaned (inches of dust) the most important points: it is a shared bathroom hotel and dont walk on the carpets bare footed!

The room was very small and noisy from the traffic but also with guests arriving in the next room at 4am. Good value for money in central london but would only recommned as somewhere to rest your head after a boozy night rather than if you wanted to relax.

Hotel was fine. The room was a bit long and thin so not very sociable but otherwise ok. Breakfast was nice and owners were friendly.

The website is very misleading, the rooms are very basic, less room than a prison cell, no shower and no toilet! The radiators are to close to the bed and turned on full, pretty much like a sauna room. The public liability certificate was out of date last year! Very worrying. I would not recommend this hotel.

The Langland is nicely situated in central London and is convenient to many attractions. It's pretty basic and sharing emenities is never ideal but you get used to it. Anywhere else in the country I'd expect a lot more for my money but in central London you have to accept you'll be ripped off and just get on with it. The reception staff were friendly and I surprisingly slept OK even though the walls were pretty thin. I can't say I'd recommend it to lots of my friends but if you are staying in London for one night it's tolerable.
