The hotel itself was lovely, very modern and obviously recently renovated. The room we had was very spacious, clean and again very modern. When we arrived the man we met was extremely helpful and very polite. The lady behind the bar was also very helpful and told us a little about the area. The only slight let down was the breakfast experience. It took over half an hour after ordering a poached egg and toast for it to be served and as there was only one person serving, checking people out and restocking the continental breakfast the service was very slow. I had asked for some coffee however by the time we had eaten our breakfast this still had not been done. Other than that our stay at the hotel was a pleasant one.

Pleasantly SurprisedBooked this hotel in a rush because site looked nice and the price was right but wasn't really expecting much. When we arrived we were impressed with the look of the place and the private parking behind gates. We had booked a superior double with breakfast but were upgraded to a suite when we checked in by a very friendly manager or owner (I assume he was anyway). The suite was fantastic and both the room and ensuite were spotlessly clean. We had a meal in the bar area which we both enjoyed and thought the choice and prices were good. It was a warm night and the air con in the room was perfect. The breakfast the next morning was cooked to order with a continental buffet to have while we waited. I would definitely recommend this as a lovely stop over hotel or even just for a nice weekend get away.

Good Hotel with 'B&B' ReceptionWe chose to stay at this hotel after looking hard for a good quality venue around Hitchen/Letchworth. With satnav it was not difficult to find. Incredibly small car park, but at least this was inside of an electronic gate for security. On arrival, two flights of stairs to the Hotel entrance which with two large bags meant 'one-at-a-time' was necessary. Don't be fooled by the 'seaside-hotel-type-B&B' Reception (which was disappointing). The rooms have recently been upgraded and were very clean/tidy and presentable. Some small comforts were still missing; at the time no Room information booklet was available, no tissue box, no soap, a safe at floor level(?), and the smallest of flat panel TV screens I have every seen in a hotel (14"?). That said, the food was excellent (even from the bar). The closeness to Luton town centre was convenient and getting out of the hotel to get on the M1 or go north was uncomplicated (helps not being in a rush). The staff are very welcoming, attentive and do the hotel much credit - (thank you).

Fantastic ! Staff attentive friendly, room was gorgeous and immaculate. Food excellent both meals. This was a lovely experience for my friends and myself. Three of us were in transit to Jersey via Luton Airport. The welcome was lovely the room and shower room were immaculate with very nice touches ie spa bath in the room high quality shower, the bed linen great quality etc. The staff could not have been nicer the service in the bar and then in the restaurant. The meal was great beautifully presented and excellent value. The value for money was actually inbelieverable as the breakfast was also superb. I would definitely recommend and would like to stay again. when we were leaving the manager was lovely helping with bags etc. and the waitresses at all times attentive and very nice.
