Really disappointed with the level of service. We could not get hot water for several hours during our stay and found the receptionist really unhelpful and unapologetic. Furthermore, there was no manager or anyone senior on site for the whole weekend who could resolve the problem.

I was going to book the basic room they offered €48 and then realised it had a shared bathroom so I opted to pay more for a double en-suite. Then when I arrive I was told a better room was available for €10 (which I would have been offered if I went for the original cheap option so it cost me more booking a better room first!) So I asked to see the room i had booked first and it was like a box tiny dark with hundreds of doors and cupboards inside! I opted for the upgrade pushing the cost to €78 a night. The first room was spacious with a weird mix of furniture but that’s not a major issue, the window was open and there were 5 or 6 flies buzzing in the room and one squashed on the wall and one on the ceiling so I asked to change because you could not be expected to sleep with flies in your room! They allowed us to change straight away. The next room was the same size but no flies! Weird bathroom set up, there is actually a Swedish sauna next to the bathroom, the strangest thing I have ever seen, money would be better spent on upgrading the mismatching furniture in each of the 3 rooms I saw. The claim of a Jacuzzi and sauna isn't as glam as it sounds it literally is a standard bath with Jacuzzi pumps and a Swedish sauna attached, perhaps I had visions of a spa like set up but I was mistaken! The hot water was hot! But as each room has its own boiler tank every time you ran a bath or went to the toilet is was unbelievably noisy and carried on for quite a while. Check out time is 10am which was disappointing as check in time was 2am but we requested an extension and go it. The customer service was good but if you expect a nice brand-new modern establishment this isn't it. But they do not claim to be, I would have rather stayed in a hotel than this guest house which is just a personal preference. All my issues were resolved quickly but I didn't want there to be any issues in the first place. The bedding was clean and it seemed to be in a good area and not too far from th

The room was nice and the customer service from both of the receptionist where of a high standard. Unfortunately they was on going problems about not having any hot water, the cd player didnt work and there was no central heating in this cold weather, but the guys at the reception tried their best.

Great hotelBeautiful room, very clean, leaving chocolates on the pillow was a lovely touch. Sauna was bigger than we had thought, and the tv smaller. But all in all an excellent time was had, and we will definitely stay here again.
