lovely hotel great view over the river & cathedral from room Room 10 the view is slightly obscured food was very nice apart from from a room service breakfast which was cold On the whole a very enjoyable stay

This has just been refurbished so obviously very clean. I had a room on the river which was superb.A big minus though was the fact there was a problem with internet access due to a problem, I was not told this and as I was on business it caused quite a problem. This had been a problem for 2 days!!

Easy to find and get to, good parking, downstairs room with access to lovely garden & riverbank. 10 minute amble to the cathedral and shops. Very quiet at night, great food and service.

On arrival I was told that the advertised \"free wi-fi\" wasn't working, and the Receptionist suggested that I walk into Salisbury with my laptop and pay to use Starbucks or McDonalds. The bedroom and bathroom was fine, although you question the cleaning standards when there are lipstick rings on the bedroom cups.I would have taken the evening meal in the restaurant but seeing two waiters smoking outside the hotel entrance put me off.What really upset me was an extra charge of £2-95 levied for paying my bill with a credit card - I will not be returning.

We found the hotel exceptional value for money. All the staff were efficient and professional. As a chef I was impressed with all meals we had in the restaurant and the way we were served. We shall definitely be returning to a Legacy hotel and maybe this one. Thank you.

I was charged an extra amount for using my credit card to pay I cannot re-claim this through my company expenses & this was not shown on booking terms.Receptionist was not at all helpful in this matter & manager was not in when I checked out.
