We are a modern Bed and Breakfast based in the heart of London - Victoria. Westminster Cathedral Abbey and Buckingham palace are 15 minutes walk. Bus 24 from outside the hotel takes you to Houses of Parliament. Big Ben, National Gallery, Trafalgar Square and on to Leicester SquareChina Town going on to Oxford Sreet- famous for shopping. We have been providing quality accommodation to our guests for over 15 years. We understand the needs of a modern traveller and always assure high standards of service, placing cleanliness above all. Very basic but good valueThe hotel was very basic but the room was generally clean and comfortable.

If you intend to use the toilet, do not stay at the LidosNo toilet paper on arrival.Toilet wouldn't flush anymore on day 2. When we notified reception response was they would show us how to work it. I know how to flush a toilet. I would have just needed someone to fix it. Don't tell your guests they are too stupid to flush, just fix the thing. When we got back to the room that night, the toilet still wouldn't flush. Complained on checking out the next morning. Response was they had sent a plumber (right...) and we should have complained before... (a - we did, didn't we and be b - again? like when??? been out all day and came back late...)I am not upset that the toilet didn't work. Yes, it was an inconvenience but it can happen. Things break. What I am annoyed with is the way the hotel dealt with it and treated us.

Low standard but well situatedHotel charges GBP 3.40 extra for paying by credit card.Room was very low standard, the bathroom extremely small.Bathroom was not very clean, there were hairs in the basin.The breakfast was very basic, just toast and jam. The breakfast room was right behind the reception, not very nice and most of all much too small. On the last morning there was a queue of five persons in front of the breakfast room so that we went somewhere else to have breakfast. I do not wait 15 minutes for three slices of toast.

Lidos HotelGreat budget accomodation, myself & 3 friends stayed her overnight for the Wireless festival. Breakfast very limited but included in price so can't complain.

DisappointingArrived at the appointed time to be told I didn't have a booking. Even when I produced printed booking form I was told there was no booking. He eventually conceded that he did have an available room, however I had to pay extra to pay by card and the rate from booking was £10 more than the rate displayed on the price tariff. Room was decent size but old and a bit tatty. Drawers contained rubbish left by previous customers, bathroom was old and stained and too small to turn around in. Appreciate I booked budget accommodation and maybe I just have high expectations, but I don't consider £93 to be cheap for one night. Will not stay again.
